  1. I know I'm very late to this. So, when I first saw the tracklist, I thought it was from the Helvetica family because of the 'R', turns out it isn't. The most similar I could find it's Nimbus Sans Cond L (Adobe Fonts) and NimbusSanConLBlaW0 (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hcWJMozm7gZW0hf4C-2lFrmhe3_7icLl/view?usp=sharing). The font I used here was the second one, but I had to wrap it a bit. The most noticeable differences are the ''R'' and the ''S''. It's probably from the same family, but it was modified for aesthetic purposes.
  2. In 2017, world's largest all-premium music video provider VEVO, decided to release a new section in their channel called 'Footnotes', featuring some artists like Khalid, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, and Shawn Mendes, to explain some background details as the artist's intention and director's vision in their music videos. Today, through Lady Gaga's official Youtube channel, the episode for '911' Footnotes has been released revealing details from the concept and explaining the references throughout the video. ''I will say that Gaga gave me free reign in both versions to execute this idea exactly as I saw fit which let me know she trusted me and this partnership. The final version was cut in less than a day and Gaga didn't change any single frame.'' said Tarsem Singh, director.
  3. In July 2019, Lady Gaga and Amazon decided to partner up for the exclusive launch of Haus Laboratories, the first major beauty brand sold exclusively on the website. If you have no idea what to gift on Christmas, maybe Lady Gaga will give you an idea. Without prior announcement, Amazon opened the official store of Lady Gaga. In the store you will find dedicated sections such as 'Merch', that includes official merchandising from her past albums, 'Chromatica', 'Haus Laboratories', and 'Listen to Lady Gaga'. New Chromatica merch is also available in the store. Check it out here.
  4. Lady Gaga released the music video for Chromatica's 8th track, '911', with a lushly detailed setup for the song, daring fashion, vibrant colors, symbolism and slow-mo voguing. The video was directed by Tarsem Singh, and it's considered a masterpiece by the press. On October 27, LG USA announced the launch of an exclusive content channel, featuring bonus footage from the shooting of 911's music video along with behind-the-scenes commentary with the director, and an exclusive video edit. According to Gaga, Tarsem and her worked together to create an exclusive visual experience. ''This version of the film will push the boundaries of the visuals and truly deliver the vibrant colors, dramatic blacks, and infinite contrast the way we envisioned them. We hope you enjoy this special version of our film which will allow you to see the details unlike anywhere else!”...and sure they did it. The alternative editing of '911' immerses you in a totally different experience, showing very vibrant colors, new camera angles, and a longer and shocking final, which according to Singh, was filmed in one take. ''I knew I wasn’t going to get too many takes…I only did one wide shot and jumped in on her face. In the wide one, I could tell she broke down straight away.'' Watch it here.
  5. In October 2013, director and visual artist Robert Wilson premiered ''Portraits of Lady Gaga'' as part of his solo exhibition 'Living Rooms.' Robert got inspiration from paintings in the Louvre’s collection and conversations with Lady Gaga regarding ideas about beauty, torture, sainthood, and perception. Lady Gaga starred in Wilson's video interpretations of Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres’s 1806 work Portrait of Mademoiselle Caroline Rivière, Jacques-Louis David’s 1806 painting The Death of Marat, and Andrea Solari’s 1507 work The Head of Saint John The Baptist. Lady Gaga recites a text by the Marquis de Sade while the portraits are showing. Today, a behind-the-scenes video has been revealed showing from the sketch process to costume fittings, makeup, production, and post-production such as VFX and color correction. The final video was also featured before the 'ARTPOP Fashion Film' at the artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball. Watch it fully here.
  6. On June 29th, Japanese-British singer Rina Sawayama took her social media to announce the release of a cover of Lady Gaga's 'Dance In The Dark' as an exclusive Spotify Single. Sawayama called the song of her favorite Gaga's songs and recorded the cover at home with remote help from Clarence Clarity. The track is accented with a steel-electric guitar that grows heavier as the song progresses. To celebrate the success of Rina's breakthrough debut album 'SAWAYAMA,' Dirty Hit and Rough Trade shops have decided to release an exclusive, limited edition 12'' vinyl called 'SAWAYAMA Remixed,' featuring some remixes and cover versions — including her showstopping interpretation of 'Dance In The Dark.'

  9. In a recent interview with Vogue Arabia, Lady Gaga discuss her life, motivations, and her upcoming role as Patrizia Reggiani. “It reminded me of my freedom and how I get to experience magic; a freedom and magic I wish everyone to have.” Freedom didn’t come easy for Gaga. Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta on March 28, 1986, to American-Italian parents in New York City, she worked her way up to the highest echelons of the entertainment industry. Raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, she always had a fondness for music, learning piano at just four years old. She is said to have written her first song at 13 and began acting in school plays and performing at open mic nights. “Whenever someone told me I wasn’t good enough throughout my career and life, I never let it break me,” she says. “I promised myself that every time I heard ‘no,’ it would motivate me to work harder.” Considered eccentric while growing up, Gaga has shared her experiences of being bullied. It has been reported that she even had a Facebook group made about her called “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous.” “The most daring thing I did was believe in myself,” says Gaga. She also attributes her success to the support of her family. When asked who has inspired her the most, she cites her mother, grandmothers, and sister. “In fact, I would have to say my whole family,” she considers. “The hard-working spirit, the ‘I’ll never give up’ attitude, the style and grace while doing so. That’s my family’s voice. That’s me.” Gaga is also known for her philanthropic work. “My charity, the Born This Way Foundation, that I co-founded with my mother, shares our ambitious passion to make positive change in the face of the world’s mental health crisis,” she shares of the initiative launched in 2012. “I believe it is more important than ever to motivate an agenda of kindness. Kindness that leads to the healing of the mind, body, and soul. Kindness that invigorates programs that are fearless in their effort to help humanity learn the importance of self-care.” For every paid transaction on the Haus Laboratories website – her line of vegan makeup – $1 is donated to the foundation. Gaga has opened up on several occasions about her struggles with both her physical and mental health, including suffering from fibromyalgia, an illness that causes intense physical pain, fatigue, and cognitive dysfunction. Having launched her sixth album, Chromatica, in June, she hopes to spread this love further. “On my new album, I want everyone to know that even if life is painful sometimes, you can still dance through it. You can dance through it because you’re being brave by fighting the pain and living life. This is something that should be celebrated. This is a reason to dance.” What does 2021 hold for Gaga? “I’m over the moon excited about an upcoming movie I’ll be acting in, directed by my new budding friend, the legendary Ridley Scott – alongside the talent of a truly humbling cast,” she shares. Gucci – based on the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed – will see Gaga take on the role of Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of arranging the killing of her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci. A true-crime drama, it could very well launch yet another award-winning year for Gaga. Read the full article.
