Ben Rice, a frequent collaborator with Lady Gaga, spoke with Texarkana Gazette about his experience making Chromatica and working with Gaga and Ariana Grande on the grammy award winning #1 hit Rain On Me.
Rice mentions the sheer excitement that was in the studio once Ariana Grande joined the process for Rain On Me.
He states:
"It was a very warm, hugging environment," he said, adding, "We played it for her and she was so excited and she got emotional about it, just super-hyped up."
Ben Rice continued to describe Rain On Me, and Chromatica's personal messages being infused with upbeat dance production. He says the album itself "is a dance album" and that Gaga was "intimate and personal putting herself courageously into the songs."
Rice even opened up about his previous work with Gaga, the soundtrack for A Star Is Born, and how it is one if the most meaningful projects he's ever worked on.  Yet, he still illuminates on Chromatica, saying "it felt good to pick up where they left off and do something entirely different for Chromatica."
Rice reveals that he's also "gearing up for the next Gaga project."  Further stating that he has a studio at his house where he can work remotely with people through Zoom.

Guinness World Records credits Lady Gaga as the first female artist to achieve four 10-million-selling singles.
It is no secret that Lady Gaga is known all around the world. Not only has she proven to be a terrific actress (she was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in "A Star is Born"), her iconic hit songs shaped and influenced many generations, creating an iconic legacy that has not yet met an end.
Since her very first album, The Fame (2008), Lady Gaga proved to the world that she knew how to change the game, spawning hit singles like Just Dance and Poker Face that broke any record know at the time. As if that wasn't enough, the re-edition of The Fame, called The Fame Monster (2009), impacted the music industry so greatly that many artists today are still inspired by her iconic music videos, such as Bad Romance and Telephone.
After a career full of wins, today we're celebrating another huge milestone: Lady Gaga has officially become the first female artist to have 4 singles that have sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
The Guinness World Record States:
Lady Gaga (USA, b. Stefani Germanotta) was the first female artist to sell 10 million copies of three singles worldwide: “Just Dance” (2008), “Poker Face” (2008) and “Bad Romance” (2009). More recently, Lady Gaga’s A Star Is Born duet with Bradley Cooper, “Shallow” (2018), gave her a fourth 10-million-selling single to take her clear of Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Adele, who have all completed their own hat-trick of 10-million-sellers.
Lady Gaga has appeared six times – more than any other female artist – on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry’s (IFPI) annual Global Top Digital Singles chart: “Poker Face” (No.1 in 2009), “Just Dance” (No.4 in 2009), “Bad Romance” (No.2 in 2010), “Telephone” (No.4 in 2010), “Born this Way” (No.6 in 2011) and “Shallow” (No.8 in 2019). “Shallow” shifted 10.2 million copies worldwide in 2019.

Lady Gaga, who released her 6th album "Chromatica" last year, winning another Grammy Award for its hit single Rain On Me with Ariana Grande, is currently in Italy filming Ridley Scott's upcoming movie "House of Gucci" with Academy Award nominees Adam Driver and Salma Hayek and winners Jared Leto and Al Pacino. The movie is anticipated for a November release in theatres worldwide.

Lady Gaga has been spotted for another day of filming in Rome for her next film project, House of Gucci.

Lady Gaga and Adam Driver were then spotted later on in different outfits filming more scenes for the movie.

Filming for House of Gucci is slated to wrap up this month and the movie will be released in theaters on November 24th.

'Til It Happens to You, the 2015 ballad by Lady Gaga and Diane Warren, was talked about by Warren in a recent interview with The Wrap.
“I remember writing that song and thinking, ‘Oh, my God, this is definitely one of my best songs.’ The movie is about sexual assault on campus, but I always thought the song could be bigger than that, so in the lyrics I never said what the It was. It’s whatever you’re going through when people say, ‘It’s going to get better, just give it time.’ But when you’re in it, you’re like, ‘You don’t know how it feels until it happens to you.’
Warren then continued on to discuss how she got Lady Gaga to collaborate with her on the powerful song, "And then I called Gaga, because I had heard that she had said something on Howard Stern that she’d been raped. I thought, ‘I’m just going to take a chance and play her the song. And if she’d gone through that, it’s going to connect with her.' I played her the song and she was sobbing on the phone."

“But nobody wanted that song to come out. The label, management, nobody wanted it to come out. So I called my friend, (director) Catherine Hardwicke, she listened to the song and said she’d do a video, I put in some of my own money, she put in some of hers, the actors worked for free, she made this brilliant video and then we leaked it out and it blew up," Warren stated.
After working hard to get the song, video, and message out, Lady Gaga then sang it at the 2016 Oscars and received a standing ovation. Warren had this to say on the powerful performance: “At the Oscars, that performance was just stunning on every level. That was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. People were sobbing in the audience, and then there was a commercial break and they came back and said, ‘And the winner is…’ and I thought, ‘What just happened?’ That was my memory of the night: I just kept saying, ‘What just happened?'"

After DJ White Shadow got the fandom excited for a potential ARTPOP Act II release, Bloodpop came online to ask fans what remixes, in theory, they would like to see from Chromatica.
One suggested the Charli XCX remix that never was. The remix in question was supposed to be for 911; however, there was a miscommunication and Charli never received the stems. Bloodpop has since reached out to the singer, and he told the fan who asked that he is "working on it!"
One fan stated that all they needed was the Babylon Haus Labs remix, and Bloodpop said it will be included on this hypothetical list.
He then tagged Rina Sawayama, a musician who covered Dance in the Dark and who has spoken about her love of Gaga before. Another fan suggested she be featured on Free Woman, and Bloodpop agreed.
Bloodpop also touched on the remixes featuring the late SOPHIE, and whether or not they will be released.
Bloodpop said he loves Runway and Bad Bunny but did not say if they made the list, and he "wishes" Lil Nas X could be on a remix.
Aside from the potential Charli XCX remix, there have been no actual confirmations on any of these features.

Following a joke by producer DJ White Shadow, Little Monsters started a petition on change.org asking Lady Gaga to release ARTPOP Act II, a unreleased EP that she hinted back in 2013.
UPDATE: DJWS Posted a letter regarding this petition. Scroll down to read.
Here is a recap of the story.

DJ White Shadow took to Instagram to joke about the unreleased track "Tea" from ARTPOP Act II being released through an NFT.
His April Fool's post read:
"JUST ANNOUNCED: @ladygaga and I will be releasing Tea as an NFT through YElLOWHEART @nfttracker"

Many fans got excited that White Shadow mentioned a song from ARTPOP Act II.  It was promised by Gaga as a bonus release after the 2013 album; it was meant to be the "second act" of ARTPOP.  Although it was scrapped, many fans still have hope for its release, including its main producer DJ White Shadow.
At the memory of ARTPOP Act II, many fans questioned White Shadow about the unreleased project, and the producer suggested to “petition Gaga” and ask her to release it.
A screenshot of the conversation was posted online and the petition started to go viral, at the point that it got the attention of DJ White Shadow and he immediately took to Instagram to post about it.
"❤️❤️❤️ FOR YOU ALL...
EDIT: I didn't make this, I just signed it, and not just because I was mean on April fools day. You guys want something, you should fight to get it! Too fun!"

Following the success of the initiative, DJ White Shadow proposed getting the petition to 10,000 signatures and he would send it to Lady Gaga.
In a mere four hours, fans came together and skyrocketed the petition's signatures to over 10,000.
After reaching the first goal, DJWS contacted us, confirming that he would send the petition to Gaga herself, and suggested to get the petition to 100,000 signatures to get the serious attention of Interscope.

DJWS posted on his Instagram talking about ARTPOP and the potential release of Act II. He shared the following words about his experience during the era and how he has in fact shared the petition with Gaga herself.

Lady Gaga has been spotted with English actor, Jack Huston, for another day of filming in Rome for “House Of Gucci.”
She stunned on today’s set sporting a shorter brown hairstyle as Patrizia Reggiani.

The pictures come after today's news that Salma Hayek was also on the cast of Ridley Scott's upcoming movie "House of Gucci", where she will portray Patrizia Reggiani's (Lady Gaga) best friend and psychist, Pina Auriemma.

In an interview with The Film Stage the cinematographer for "House of Gucci" revealed that the move is going to be "Like a high-end soap opera."
Dariusz Wolski, who worked on Ridley Scott's last project, states that he's still trying to find a "look" for the movie.
"I’m still trying to find a look for it. The 80s weren’t a particularly good-looking period. The fashion world or these fashion shows, they were not that great looking. You look at the big coats and stuff and [go] hmm… So it’s a bit of a kitschy, funny, tragic tragedy––like a high-end soap opera. With a crazy cast as well."

Filming is set to wrap up this month for Ridley Scott’s new drama, “House of Gucci”.

Lady Gaga's dogwalker, who was assaulted in Los Angeles a few weeks ago, has posted a video on his recovery from the hospital room.
Ryan Fischer was the victim of a shooting when he was taking Lady Gaga's dogs out for a late night walk in Malibu a few weeks ago. It was reported he received several injuries.
In the new video,  we can see Ryan getting up from his hospital bed and dancing into his new found freedom. In the same post, he described his recovery as, "a meeting with his mortality."
""Recovery isn’t a Straight Line.'"

J, a Clinical Partner at the hospital, said this to me as I paused to catch my breath and take in another piece of art on the wall. It was one of my first walks since being transferred from the ICU to another floor, and just the act of considering and consuming art - especially after a year of not going to museums due to Covid - felt like a gift. Everything did at that point. I cracked a smile staring at the abstract alligator, steadied myself on the IV pole and his arm, and began walking again. The conversation returned to future dreams, and, while the support he and others gave me on those walks offered such comfort, I didn’t fully understand J’s words. For me, I was recovering remarkably fast. In days I had gone from bleeding out on a sidewalk, to overly-active ICU patient (which they were VERY not used to), to just waiting for my lung to heal so I could go home: everything appeared quite straight forward.
.
And so, with the chest tube removed (which I can only equate to an alien baby extraction) and my blood oxygen stable, the journey outside to recover with loved ones began. I was prepared to quietly start a path to healing from the emotional trauma and continue on my way. Life would be back to normal soon enough. Unfortunately, the strange hissing and glugging coming from my chest every time I took a breath begged to differ with that assessment. A doctor visit and x-ray followed, and soon after I was whisked to the same ER where I had been only a week earlier: my lung had collapsed, and air was filling up my chest cavity. Along with accepting the the news that I was about to be readmitted, several nurses and doctors told me how they had been in the room when I came in with my gunshot. How they didn’t think I was going to make it. My mind transported me to that night when I was evaluating the shock and concern on their faces as blood spurted out of me on to them, the table, and floor (and I tried to bring levity to the situation by making jokes and obvious statements like, “Well that doesn’t look good,” as they raced around attempting to stabilize me), but to hear them actually say it…..
had truly been confronted with my mortality.
.
Back in the hospital, my lung collapsed again despite the new chest tube poking at my insides. And then it collapsed again. And again. Each time was a fun surprise to me and practitioners alike as my blood oxygen remained at or near 100%, so I evaded detection until I was getting an X-ray or MRI or CT scan to check on other issues (like the nerve damage I was starting to realize I had in my right shoulder and tricep). Soon followed a team of people rushing in once more to fix the kink in my chest tube or whatever else was causing the collapse. It became quite clear that my lung was not healing, and the bullet wound had scarred my tissue like a burn. It could take months, if ever, for the hole to seal. Lunches of grilled cheese and tomato soup and art walks blurred into one until the day came to remove portions of my lung. As I was being wheeled into surgery, I finally accepted my recovery had become anything but a straight line.
.
Now that I’m finding my way in the outside world where triggers are real and working through trauma is WAY more than dealing with one unfortunate moment in life, I look back at my exit from the hospital and smile that I continue to approach each day the same way. The journey is hard, it’s assuredly painful, and questionable choices that no longer serve me like wearing skinny jeans are made. But I try. And somewhere within that I find the absurdity and wonder and beauty this life offers us all.

Ryan has thanked Lady Gaga multiple times for her love and support, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Matt

In a Q&A on Twitter, Charli XCX revealed she was supposed to create a 911 remix.
The singer stated Bloodpop contacted her, but unfortunately nothing came of it.
Bloodpop took to Twitter in response. He posted a DM conversation he recently had with Charli in regards to her tweets. He said they sent the stems of the song to her back in November of 2020; however, there must have been a communication error because Charli claimed to have never gotten them. She said she will look to see if her team has them.

From the conversation, it is possible a new 911 remix may be released soon.

Lady Gaga's makeup brand, Haus Labs, has partnered with Klarna to uplift upcoming creators.

The Studio, located in LA, was originally a local hub for Haus Labs, but Gaga and Klarna have teamed up to make the location serve another purpose: a resource center for up and coming creators who will receive a $10,000 grant.
Only three creators will be chosen, and it will be through invite-only. This creator collective will rotate biannually so others will have the opportunity to receive the grant and resources. The creator cohort of three people will receive mentorship from Haus Labs, access to The Studio in LA, and the grant provided by Klarna.

The first two creators, Biddy and Vari, were handpicked by Gaga and Klarna themselves.
"Each creator is unique in the art they create, and uses their platform to be kind to the world. This is the type of brave self-expression that we admire and champion as a brand," Gaga explained when asked how the creators were chosen.

The creators will have full access to The Studio. The interior offers colorful lighting, a pink sofa, and high-tech features. It also has a photo studio, kitchen area, bathroom, and lounge. Gaga stated in an interview to E! News, "It was important to design The Studio in a way that promotes and inspires creativity for everyone that enters. The team used this goal to make design decisions throughout the space, from architecture to the colors, textures, and flow."

When asked about her favorite part of The Studio, Gaga told E! News, "The mirrored canopy is a centerpiece of The Studio that represents the importance of self-reflection and perspective. It's a custom art piece that we feel so proud to showcase in our space."
