After announcing on her Instagram story, Lady Gaga stepped outside her Paris hotel and shared a preview of her highly anticipated new album, LG7.

Gaga had a busy day, watching the Olympics live with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, and mingling with other celebrities in Paris.

She informed her fans via Instagram story that she would be teasing new music tonight. Excited fans gathered outside the hotel and captured snippets of the new tracks as Gaga played them from her laptop atop a car.

The previews feature techno elements with pulsating beats and synths, accompanied by echoing vocals.

It was a matter of ensuring that the world could savor this electrifying moment while also paying homage to the French song."

Lady Gaga has been out and about in Paris after performing at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics on July 26, 2024.
Gaga performed a special version of “Mon truc en plumes” by French singer Zizi Jeanmaire along the river Seine. She posted a video of the full performance to her social media.
Today, July 27, Gaga and her boyfriend Michael Polansky visited a “Dior” boutique shop in Paris. Gaga wore an all-black ensemble, with a blazer, high heels, and a handbag.
Later, she stopped by a restaurant to order a sandwich – in French. 
 
 
Back at her hotel, Gaga sang an impromptu version of “Always Remember Us This Way” with fans. 
 
 
She dined at Laurent again, and once she left, she took a moment to sign autographs and take photos with fans.

Lady Gaga Partakes In Olympic Games Ceremony

Lady Gaga made a spectacular appearance at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
The ceremony took place this Friday, July 26th, and for the first time in the history of the Summer Olympic Games, it was not held in a stadium. The Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony was held in the heart of the city along its main artery, the river Seine. Gaga was part of the ceremony, performing a special version of "Mon truc en plumes" by Zizi Jeanmaire.


The performance was pre-recorded a few hours before the ceremony to avoid technical issues from the heavy rain.

"I feel so completely grateful to have been asked to open the Paris 2024 this year. I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organizing committee to sing such a special French song—a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theatre. This song was sung by Zizi Jeanmaire, born in Paris a French ballerina, she famously sang “Mon Truc en Plumes” in 1961. The title means “My Thing with Feathers.” And this is not the first time we’ve crossed paths. Zizi starred in Cole Porter’s musical “Anything Goes” which was my first jazz release. Although I am not a French artist, I have always felt a very special connection with French people and singing French music—I wanted nothing more than to create a performance that would warm the heart of France, celebrate French art and music, and on such a momentous occasion remind everyone of one of the most magical cities on earth—Paris. We rented pom poms from Le Lido archive—a real French cabaret theater. We collaborated with Dior to create custom costumes, using naturally molted feathers. I studied French choreography that put a modern twist on a French classic. I rehearsed tirelessly to study a joyful French dance, brushing up on some old skills—I bet you didn’t know I used to dance at a 60’s French party on the lower east side when I was first starting out! I hope you love this performance as much as I do. And to everyone in France, thank you so much for welcoming me to your country to sing in honor of you—it’s a gift I’ll never forget! Congratulations to all the athletes who are competing in this year’s Olympic Games! It is my supreme honor to sing for you and cheer you on!! Watching the Olympic Games always makes me cry! Your talent is unimaginable. Let the games begin!"
The message included pictures from a new photoshoot by Rémi Lamandé, taken on the side of the river where she performed.

She dined at the restaurant Lapérouse for an evening meal before returning to her hotel. She wore a navy blazer, blue jeans, platform heels and a black Celine handbag. 

For the duration of her stay in Paris, her nails have been painted a bright pink color.

Lady Gaga Graces The Cover of EMPIRE as Harley Quinn

EMPIRE Magazine has unveiled the cover of their upcoming issue, featuring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix as Harley Quinn and the Joker.

Lady Gaga gave her first interview about her role in "Joker: Folie à Deux," discussing how she adjusted her singing voice to sound more authentic for her character "Lee."
"People know me by my stage name, Lady Gaga, right? That’s me as that performer, but that is not what this movie is; I’m playing a character. So I worked a lot on the way that I sang to come from Lee, and to not come from me as a performer. [...] How do you take music and have it just be an extension of the dialogue, as opposed to breaking into song for no conceivable reason? It was unlike anything I’ve ever done before.

[...] For me, there’s plenty of bum notes, actually, from Lee, I’m a trained singer, right? So even my breathing was different when I sang as Lee. When I breathe to sing on stage, I have this very controlled way to make sure that I’m on pitch and it’s sustained at the right rhythm and amount of time, but Lee would never know how to do any of that. So it’s like removing the technicality of the whole thing, removing my perceived art-form from it all and completely being inside of who she is."

In another part of the interview, Lady Gaga shared that while she drew some inspiration from the Harley Quinn of the comic books, she ultimately created her own version of the character, influenced by followers of Charles Manson.

With two days until the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, Lady Gaga is confirmed to participate in the opening ceremony. 
This will be her first televised live performance since the 95th Academy Awards in March 2023. 
As of now, there is no confirmation on what she will perform. 
Speculation around Gaga’s participation in the ceremony began after a press release from the Olympics teased “a show on a grand scale with an eclectic mash-up of the old and the new.”
The rumors grew stronger after Gaga arrived in Paris on July 22.
 
 
Gaga spent the days leading up to the opening ceremony meeting fans and enjoying the city.
 
 
She was seen at Laurent Restaurant in Paris on July 23, wearing a black-and-white jacket and a baseball cap. While out, she signed autographs for fans. 
 
 
The next day, she stopped to meet and take pictures with fans.

Lady Gaga arrived in Paris today, a few days before the 2024 Summer Olympics ceremony. The singer was first seen this afternoon, arriving at her hotel in a blue denim hat and jacket.

A few hours later, she left the hotel in her car but paused before driving away to wave and blow kisses to her fans.


Later, she returned to the hotel and took some time to sign autographs and meet her fans.
Gaga’s arrival in Paris comes after speculation that she will perform at this year’s Olympic Games.
If so, this will be her first live performance since July 6, when she concluded the eighth leg of “Jazz & Piano” in Las Vegas.

'Joker: Folie à Deux' to Premiere at Venice Film Festival

“Joker: Folie à Deux,” starring Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix as the titular character, will have its world premiere at the 81st annual Venice International Film Festival, held from August 28 to September 7, 2024, at Venice Lido, Italy.

During the presentation, it was revealed that the official runtime of the movie is 2 hours and 18 minutes.
The anticipated Joker sequel will follow the festival path of the first movie, which was awarded the Golden Lion, the festival's highest prize, to director Todd Phillips in 2019. This will be Gaga's second appearance at the iconic Mostra, after the premiere of "A Star Is Born" in 2018, when she and Bradley Cooper received an eight-minute ovation and successfully launched an awards campaign that resulted in Gaga's first Oscar.

Lady Gaga Wraps 8th Leg of Las Vegas Residency

Last night, Lady Gaga finished the eighth leg of her “Jazz & Piano” residency in Las Vegas. 
The eight-show run opened at Dolby Live at Park MGM on June 19, 2024, and wrapped on July 6.
Gaga has now played 48 "Jazz & Piano" shows since 2019. 
 
 
The production was largely unchanged from Gaga’s prior “Jazz & Piano” shows in October 2023, aside from a new black-and-blonde wig,  and a revamped wardrobe. 
 
 
One major change to the set list includes the addition of “Americano” from Gaga’s 2011 album Born This Way, marking its first public live performance since The Born This Way Ball in 2013. 
 
 
Gaga's classic "Poker Face," "Paparazzi," "Bad Romance," "Born This Way" and "Stupid Love" remained on the set list. 
 
 
There is still a chance to catch Gaga performing jazz in the future. At the July 5 show, Gaga confirmed she will return to Las Vegas with a “brand new show," though she made no indication of when. 
 
 
Earlier in the leg, she teased the possibility of pop shows in the future. 
 
 
While Gaga didn’t directly address new music after teasing her return at the end of the GAGA Chromatica Ball film, fans tried to make her. Several shouted about LG7, but the most Gaga did to address the demand was offer a "not tonight," on the night of the first show. 
 
 
Later in the run, Gaga gave a fan a look after they shouted, "LG7 next!" to her.

Sasha Velour Interviews Lady Gaga about The Chromatica Ball

RuPaul's Drag Race winner Sasha Velour interviewed Lady Gaga about her concert special GAGA Chromatica Ball ahead of its premiere in May.

"Chromatica, for me, is an ending and a beginning at the same time," Gaga said. 
While Gaga recalled the songwriting process for Chromatica as being both thoughtful and filled with anxiety, she called the tour a "total liberation." 
"It was like every faculty that I have when it comes to being an imaginative person just came back full throttle," Gaga said. 
Gaga said her performances and music are inspired by her fans, and the Chromatica Ball film is no different. 
"The way that this film was put together was designed to show the fans everything," Gaga said. "The fashion, the art direction, the films that were shown, the beautiful hair and makeup, was all a part of what Chromatica was all about." 
When asked if the Chromatica Ball tour allowed her to examine new parts of herself, Gaga said her biggest challenge when it comes to reinvention is to slow down.
"Sometimes I want to transform so much that I am just, like, a loose cannon," Gaga said. "All the fans know exactly what I'm talking about." 
Despite this, the tour helped her understand that she's always an artist, even when she's in between projects. 
"I get to be an artist every day, and whatever my reinvention is, is a part of that," Gaga said. 
To close the interview, Gaga teased a little bit of what to expect from her new music. 
"I have just been in the studio all the time, and I'm making a lot of music," Gaga said. "It's just this incredibly vast experience that I just feel so lucky that I get to have. I'm excited for Monsters to hear where I am now and be connecting on that level again."

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at a private event celebrating Summer Solstice in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania.
Gaga joined many celebrities in a star-studded weekend of glamour and magic, held from Friday, June 21 - Sunday, June 23, 2024 in a luxurious resort in Nemacolin. Organizers said that the celebration "will be the musical event of the century, with three world-famous musical guests performing private concerts exclusively for guests in honor of the grand reopening of The Chateau".

Lady Gaga Denies Pregnancy Rumors And Gets Support From Taylor Swift

After taking to social media to dispel pregnancy rumors, Lady Gaga received support from Taylor Swift on her official TikTok account. 
On June 4, Gaga posted a TikTok referencing the rumors with lyrics from Swift’s “Down Bad,” affirming fans that she’s “not pregnant – just down bad cryin at the gym.” 
In the same post, Gaga encouraged fans to check their voter registration status at headcount.org. 
 
 
Hours later, Swift left a comment on how it is “invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman's body.”

Lady Gaga's Fashion Collaborator Hints At New Projects

Lady Gaga's latest fashion collaborator, brutalist inspired emerging designer Selva, revealed the inspiration behind her Chromatica Ball premiere outfit and hinted at possible new projects in the future.
Cristian "Selva" Huygens, Argentinian designer living in Berlin, Germany, shared in a recent interview how he was contacted by the Haus of Gaga and how he constructed Lady Gaga's breathtaking outfit from her newest concert special premiere in LA last week.
He explained how the collaboration came to fruition:
"Gaga's stylist, Nicola Formichetti, called me and told me 'I saw your profile on Instagram' and I was amazed. (...) That same day I started to show him my pieces and (...) the next day he called me telling me that they had introduced him a folder for Lady Gaga with designs from Balenciaga, Gucci, Alexander McQueen and any brand you can imagine, and she chose Selva without hesitation! It was perfect because she was looking for something semi-industrial and brutalist, and ours was a match. It was also a matter of luck, right?, because at another time she looked for other styles, but now she was looking for this and she didn't care that I am not a high-end designer, that I am an emerging one."
The young designer received that call just five days before the premiere of the Chromatica Ball film in LA, so he had to be quick:
"I immediately started putting together everything I had done before from scratch. I usually find the parts I use on the street, but that same day I spent two hours walking around the city and couldn't find anything, so I decided it was time to go to a salvage yard. (...) The owner of the junkyard didn't believe me either when I told him that the part I was looking for was for Lady Gaga's dress. He died laughing. But for fifty euros he gave me the Mercedes Benz part and I took it on my bike."
He explained how he crafted the outfit in a matter of days, having to ship it instead of going to LA himself:
"I went back to the studio and started putting together the entire structure plus the dress plus some pieces that are going to appear very soon in a shooting that is to come...  In just two days I did everything again and the stylist told me 'you're coming to Los Angeles and you bring it to me in person because I don't want to risk it not arriving', and I responded that I didn't have a VISA."
Asked about the future collaboration with the Haus and Gaga herself, he hinted at possible new projects, staying vague about the specifics, despite initial reports that he announced a new Gaga album which turned out to be fake, explaining that:
"We are already working on other projects, which I can't say much about, but yes. We build a relationship and more things come with it. Something like that. I mean, I got offers from other big celebrities and I had to say no because she wants exclusivity. Imagine! Obviously I was not in a position to say no. So we're working on things in the future (...) I got offers from other big celebrities and I had to say no because she wants exclusivity."

Additionally, The Spot, a bar in Hell’s Kitchen, is hosting two viewing parties of Gaga’s Chromatica Ball. Hosted by Vicky Vee, stop by at 8 p.m. this Wednesday, May 29, and next week, on June 5, to catch the film on one of the biggest screens in Hell’s Kitchen. No reservation is required.

Canadian Monsters can catch a screening of the film special at an exclusive event on Thursday, May 30, in the Academy at 80A, in Toronto.
This is an exclusive event with limited seating. 
UNITED KINGDOM
Some UK Monsters received an email detailing an exclusive fan watch party of the Chromatica Ball film on Thursday, May 30, in London. 
 
 
Fans, aged 18 or older, had to apply for a chance to win two tickets to the screening before 6 p.m. BST. 
There’s no word on when fans in the UK, Italy, India or Japan will be able to stream the film, but fans in other territories can watch on Max and Warner Pass.

Lady Gaga's concert special "GAGA Chromatica Ball" is now available to watch on MAX.
Two days ago, Lady Gaga held a private screening of the concert in Los Angeles. Many fans, as well as members of the press, attended the event, describing the movie as "a glorious, breathless, intoxicating watch."
The concert movie was edited and directed by Lady Gaga herself and was recorded back in 2022 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. It is now available to stream on MAX and Warner Pass.
Updates about its release in Italy, the UK, India, and Japan will arrive soon.

RECAP: The Chromatica Ball Premiere in Los Angeles

Lady Gaga attended the premiere of her GAGA Chromatica Ball special in Los Angeles.
The special event was hosted to celebrate the upcoming release of Lady Gaga's tour special on the streaming platform MAX, set for release on May 25th at 8pm EST. The venue was filled with artwork from Lady Gaga's talented fans, including warh.olkiller, moygogo, monoceroz.1294, melchomm, lukapekic, arthurshahverdyanart, artfloozyy, and alexrobertsgo.
The premiere also featured costumes from the tour itself, such as the “bug” headpiece and outfit for Alice, Replay, and Monster.
Gaga graced the event with her presence wearing an avant-garde white outfit made by brutalism-inspired emerging designer from Berlin and a black wig. She walked the red carpet before taking part in a Q&A preceded by the premiere of the film itself.
The Q&A portion included an outfit change and questions regarding the process of creating The Chromatica Ball, Gaga’s relationship with performing and her fans, as well as LG7.
During the premiere, some lucky fans, along with the press, had the chance to see an exclusive screening of the 2-hour special.
Reactions from the premiere have been outstanding, describing the movie as another successful project from Lady Gaga.
GAGA Chromatica Ball will premiere worldwide on MAX and other streaming services on May 25th.
