While in New York City for the sixth MAYHEM Ball show on Sept. 7, 2025, Lady Gaga simultaneously racked up four MTV Video Music Awards, including Artist of the Year.
Her duet with Bruno Mars, "Die With a Smile," won Best Collaboration, and "Abracadabra" won Best Direction and Best Art Direction. Gaga was the most-nominated artist of the night, with a total of 12 nominations.

“It’s not just an outfit it’s my uniform. My pleaser black Monster Ball boots are SO special to me. I have performed for millions of monsters around the world in them. They have carried me far even when I felt like I couldn’t carry myself. I still have them! I wore them at Coachella!”
“I was inspired by rockstars my whole career—David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Blondie, Madonna, Prince, so so many. Grace Jones made me want to have as much fun as possible with fashion. Also I was just always inspired by designers and they became my friends so I just wanted to wear their clothes!! McQueen probably inspired my career the most.”

FNAC France is set to release two limited-edition colored vinyl versions of Lady Gaga’s iconic albums, The Fame Monster and Born This Way, on September 19.
These editions appear to be the same as those previously released in the U.S. by Urban Outfitters. The Fame Monster will come as a 3-disc set, featuring double-sided vinyls that also include Gaga’s debut album, The Fame.

Lady Gaga Attends Netflix's Wednesday Event and Confirms 'The Dead Dance'

Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at Netflix's "Wednesday" Graveyard Gala, but she came with a surprise of her own: Her song "The Dead Dance" will be out September 3, 2025.
Prior to Gaga's confirmation, the song was heavily rumored to be included in the second season of "Wednesday," in which Gaga plays a small role as Rosaline Rotwood, "a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday."

Gaga's appearance in the second season of the Netflix original series was confirmed last year, and she closed the streaming service's annual "TUDUM" event with a performance of "Zombieboy" and "Abracadabra" in May.
Last month, show-runner Tim Burton confirmed he worked on "something else" with Gaga after her appearance in the series.
The cast of "Wednesday" have lauded Gaga and her performance. In March, Ortega said she is "definitely one of the most talented individuals" she worked with. Last week, Catherine Zeta-Jones deemed her "one of the most talented, creative and wonderful people to appear on the Earth in decades."

Lady Gaga Kicks Off The MAYHEM Ball Tour in Las Vegas

Lady Gaga kicked off the first show of The MAYHEM Ball Tour in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 16 at the T-Mobile Arena. The show marks the first arena show in support of MAYHEM following her Art of Personal Chaos promotional shows earlier this year.
To prepare for the show, the Haus of Gaga museum inside Park MGM added new MAYHEM merchandise and several new outfits from the MAYHEM era.
The museum now features the dress worn by Gaga for her Copacabana concert, as well as two red outfits worn by the Mistress of MAYHEM.
Once inside the arena, fans can submit their own "Voices of MAYHEM" stories that are projected onto the stage's screen before the show. Fans were also given light-up LED bracelets that are synced with the show.
The show's setlist reflects the Art of Personal Chaos shows from earlier this year, with some adjustments. Gaga added six new songs and changed outfits for "Perfect Celebrity," "Killah," and "Shadow of a Man." New additions are bolded.
