Lady Gaga’s debut album The Fame just crossed its 500th week on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Album chart, becoming the first album in history to achieve this milestone.

Gaga’s multi-platinum dance-electro-pop record released in 2008, spent 500 weeks or nearly 10 years on the Billboard chart, a feat that no other album has done so. On this weeks chart in its record-breaking 500th week, the album is placed at the second position, 15 years after the release.
The Fame already holds the record for the most weeks at number one on the same chart with 175 weeks. Lady Gaga is also the artist with the most cumulative weeks at number one with 244 weeks, as seven of her albums reached the top spot. The Fame also made it as the year-end number-one album on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Year-End chart, being the number one album in 2009, 2010 and 2021.
Earlier this year Lady Gaga celebrated the 15th anniversary of her record-breaking debut album with a limited-edition vinyl, a special 15 years anniversary collection and a mural.

Music critics are praising Lady Gaga's heavenly vocal delivery on The Rolling Stones new record "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" with Stevie Wonder.
Neil McCormick from UK's The Telegraph gave a 5 out 5 star review saying that "Jagger and Gaga are on astonishing, exultant form", adding:
"But the outstanding thrill of this performance is yet to come, as it builds to a huge climax and reaches a powerful conclusion after five minutes, only for Jordan to pick up the beat again. Gaga laughs and joins in, trilling the chorus melody, producer Andrew Watt adds a bass line and Jagger calls “Play me something, Stevie”, inspiring Wonder to weigh in with lubricious piano."
Ed Potton from The Times UK wrote another 5 star review calling the record "a jam session for the gods,” adding:
"Sweet Sounds of Heaven sounds like a band at the peak of a jam session for the gods: loosened up, euphoric and effortlessly bouncing off each other. And what a band it is. Lady Gaga holds her own against a rejuvenated Mick Jagger on vocals, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood turn the clock back to their pomp, Steve Jordan impressively replaces Charlie Watts on drums and a certain Stevie Wonder plays sublime piano, Fender Rhodes and Moog."
Gil Kaufman from Billboard said:
"Lady Gaga goes to church and skies up into her highest, most soulful register on the new Rolling Stones gospel blues burner “Sweet Sounds of Heaven. The song eventually rises to a joyous riot of guitar, drums, saxophone and keyboards more than five minutes in, building to a pair of joyous peaks as Jagger and Gaga get entangled in a growly soul shout-off."
Kristina Baum from The Rolling Stone Germany wrote:
"Sweet Sounds of Heaven” is a more soulful number that builds up into a pompous number with a big band feel – also thanks to Lady Gaga’s vocal power."
Joey Nolfi from EW said:
"Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, and the Rolling Stones spent more than seven minutes in heaven together on their new song, and now they've finally shared its sweet sounds with the world — including a new vocal style from Gaga unlike anything you've heard from her before."
Kaelen Bell from Canadian Exclaim wrote:
"Gaga is clearly channelling some Merry Clayton-esque, background-singer-who-steals-the-show bravura in her wailing delivery. It's a pretty solid song for a band in their sixth decade! Gaga adds some real electricity to the thing, and you just know she had fun in that studio trading "oh yeahs" with Jagger."
Carys Anderson and Eddie Fu from the Consequence of Sound said:
"Jagger is then joined by Gaga, who at first delivers restrained backing vocals on the second verse before letting it all hang out on the chorus."
Cillea Houghton from American Songwriter wrote:
"The bluesy tune proves that rock and roll and soul music can live harmoniously. Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger takes lead vocals while Gaga turns into a bonafide soul singer as Wonder shows off his musicianship by playing piano and the Moog synthesizer."

'Sweet Sounds of Heaven' is the second single from The Rolling Stones album 'Hackney Diamonds' out on October 20.

Their new collaborative song is described as a "show-stopping almost spiritual conclusion as Lady Gaga goes toe to toe with Mick Jagger". The song also features Stevie Wonder on piano.
I hear the sweet, sweet sounds of heaven.
Falling down, falling down to this earth.
I heard the sweet sweetest sounds of heaven.
Drifting down, drifting down to this earth.
Bless the father, bless the son.
Hear the sound of the drums
as it echoes through the valley and it bursts.
Let no woman or child go hungry tonight.
Please protect us from the pain and the hurt.
Yeah. I smell the sweet scents the sweet scents of heaven.
Tumbling down, tumbling down to the earth.
I hear the sweet sounds, the sweet sounds of children.
And they're praising the land of their birth.
No, I'm not, not going down in the dirt. I'm gonna laugh, I'm gonna cry.
Eat the bread, drink the wine.
Cause [...] finally quenching [...].
You can't have a light without a little shadow.
Always need a target for your bow and arrow.
I want to be drenched in the rain of your heavenly love.
Let the music play loud, let it burst through the clouds.
And we all feel the heat of the sun. Yeah.
Let us sing let us shout. Let us all stand up proud. Let the old still believe that they're young.
Sweet sweet sound.
Sounds so sweet. Sounds so sweet. Heaven. Heaven. Falling down to this earth.
I hear the sweet sweet sounds of heaven. Coming down falling down to the earth. Oh yeah.
Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Hear the gods laughing from above.
Falling down falling down to this earth. Let me lay down and sleep. Heaven. Heaven.

Lady Gaga gave an interview to Refinery 29 talking about Haus Labs' new concealer, her beauty routine, and dealing with insecurities.
Gaga delved into details speaking about how they made the new Haus Labs concealer:
"We have to put inside of it all the 21 ingredients that are in the foundation so that you’re treating your skin and treating the redness on your face. We packed it with a biotech-caffeine that was derived with Ayurvedic medicine and in two weeks, underneath the eyes, you’ll visibly see that you’ve depuffed the eyes. We’ve done a ton of studies to show this. It’s amazing."
She also shared parts of her daily beauty routine:
"I wash my face in the morning and I’ll do a ton of toners, I’ll do serums, I’ll do all sorts of things on my skin and then I’ll end with moisturizer and sunscreen — I use a moisturizer that’s also a sunscreen. And then after, I’ll take the concealer and I’ll either put it on the areas I want to conceal and then I’ll use my fingers and tap it in."
In the end, Gaga concluded how she feels about makeup while getting older:
"I think makeup is powerful because if you feel concerned about getting older, like I am, you have makeup to be there for you to build your confidence. But I’m 37 and I feel more confident than I have in my whole career. It’s just because I love more things about myself than I did when I was younger. When I was younger, I loved fashion and I loved beauty, but I cared less about how my whole life came together and now it’s the person inside me that I know is truly the really valuable part of me and everything else is just an extension of that."

An old Lady Gaga demo song titled "Nothing On (But The Radio)" has been rewritten, re-recorded, and released by American actress and singer Addison Rae on her new EP.
The track was originally offered to Lady Gaga during the recording sessions for Born This Way in 2010. She added a few original lyrics to the song and recorded a demo, but somehow the song didn't end up on the album. Ever since, the demo has been circulating on the web and delighting fans over the years.
Lady Gaga tried to release the track again, produced by DJ White Shadow, for her album ARTPOP in 2013, changing the title to "Heard It On The Radio." However, the song was scrapped from the final cut since Gaga didn't like how the song turned out.
The track was recently acquired by Addison Rae, and she released it on her debut extended play AR, which is set to be released on August 18th.
Since the lyrics were changed, Gaga is sadly no longer credited as the songwriter.
You can listen to Addison Rae's version of the song on Spotify and Apple Music.
