Lady Gaga performed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at a rally for Democratic presidential nominee and current-Vice President Kamala Harris, a day ahead of the U.S. presidential election.
She performed two songs: "God Bless America," and her own, "The Edge of Glory."
Watch "God Bless America" below:
And "The Edge of Glory":
After "God Bless America," she expressed her support for Harris in a speech before introducing Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff:
"For more than half of this country's life, women didn't have a voice. Yet, we raised children, we held our families together, we supported men as they made the decisions. But tomorrow, women will be a part of making this decision. Today, I am holding in my heart all the tough, tenacious women who made me who I am. I cast my vote for someone who will be President for all, for all Americans."
The Nov. 4 rally is Harris' last one before Election Day, on Nov. 5, 2024. Gaga joined other public figures, such has Oprah Winfrey, Ricky Martin and Jazmine Sullivan on the steps of the Art Museum of Philadelphia to rally support.
Gaga endorsed Harris and her running mate Tim Walz earlier this week, saying, "It's time to get ready to vote," in a video posted to Instagram:
Gaga supported current-President Joe Biden since his run for office. She spoke at a Biden-Harris rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the night before the 2020 election, and she performed the national anthem at Biden's inauguration.
In 2023, Biden appointed Gaga as the co-chair of the Committee on the Arts the Humanities, a board that advises the White House on matters of cultural policy.

Three days after the release of "Disease," Lady Gaga dropped the music video for the "LG7 " era lead single tonight, October 29. The horror-themed music video arrives just in time for Halloween.
Click here to watch the music video.

The video's choreography was directed by the Emmy Award-winning Parris Goebel, known for her work with Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber.
Less than an hour before the video's premiere, Gaga posted a message to her Instagram story:
"Disease is about facing that fear, facing myself and my inner darkness, and realizing that sometimes I can't win or escape the parts of myself that scare me. That I can try and run from them but they are still part of me and I can run and run but eventually I'll meet that part of myself again, even if only for a moment.
Gaga announced the music video earlier in the day, alongside news that a live performance of her Bruno Mars' duet "Die With a Smile" in Las Vegas would premiere at the same time.
Prior to the "Disease" single release, Gaga posted a 10-second teaser from the music video on social media, featuring a clip of her with dark hair and a white dress running from someone driving a car.
Earlier this week, Gaga teased there's "a LOT more to come" in an Instagram post. The music video also seemingly teases new music from LG7.

The 'LG7 ' era has officially begun: "Disease," the lead single from Lady Gaga's seventh studio album, is out now.
Click here to listen to the song.
"Disease" was written by Gaga, Andrew Watt, Cirkut and Gaga's fiancé Michael Polansky, with production by Gaga, Watt and Cirkut.
The song's lyric video is now out on YouTube. Watch the video below:

As soon as the song dropped, Gaga changed her profile photo on her social media profiles to a dark, close-up shot of her face, with only her eyes illuminated.
Additionally, new promotional images were released with the song.
In the four years since her sixth studio album "Chromatica," Gaga has kept busy: She starred as Harleen "Lee" Quinzel in "Joker: Folie à Deux," completed several successful legs of her "Jazz & Piano" residency in Las Vegas, expanded her Haus Labs enterprise, toured "Chromatica,"  released the "GAGA Chromatica Ball" concert special on Max, topped charts with her Bruno Mars duet "Die With a Smile" and dropped three full-length projects — the "Dawn of Chromatica" remix album, "Love For Sale" with Tony Bennett and the "Joker" companion piece, "Harlequin."
Fans have eagerly awaited news about 'LG7 ' for years, but the anticipation peaked when Gaga made a cryptic post on social media, showing her itinerary for the 81st Venice International Film Festival in early September.
Among promotional events for "Joker: Folie à Deux," the bottom of the itinerary revealed the 'LG7'' lead single would come in October, though the official date was marked by "XX."
Through a series of cryptic teases on Spotify and the website gagadisease.com, fans found out last week that the 'LG7 ' era would commence with the release of "Disease" on October 25.
Now, after four long years, fans can look forward to a full-length album of original material in February 2025, per an article with Vogue.

Lady Gaga has just announced her comeback single, "Disease," which will be released this Friday, October 25.
The new single can be pre-saved on Apple Music and Spotify here.

The original single's announcement was found after solving a riddle:
Fans noticed that Lady Gaga published a new Spotify playlist titled ".com," featuring eleven songs from her discography. The first letter of each song spells "gagadisease."
If you visit website gagadisease.com, it will display new lyric from the new single: "I could play the doctor."
From there, searching "icouldplaythedoctor.com" reveals another lyric: "I can cure your disease."
In continuing the same pattern, nine lines from the single are revealed, until you reach the final announcement:
"I could play the doctor
I can cure your disease
If you were a sinner
I could make you believe
Lay you down like 123
Eyes roll back in ecstasy
I can smell your sickness
I can cure ya
Cure your disease"

Not even one month after the release of "Harlequin," the promo for Lady Gaga's seventh studio album has already started.
On streaming platforms, seven of Gaga's song titles were reformatted, seemingly overnight. Now, the seven deep cuts are stylized in all caps, with the exception of their first letter.
Little Monsters caught that the lowercase letters spell out the word "disease."
As of now, an official pre-save link for the release has not been posted by Gaga or her team.
Fans have eagerly awaited news about 'LG7' for years, but the anticipation peaked when Gaga made a cryptic post on social media, showing her itinerary for the 81st Venice International Film Festival in early September.
Among promotional events for "Joker: Folie à Deux," the bottom of the itinerary revealed the 'LG7'' lead single is coming in October, though the official date was marked by "XX."
The teasing didn't stop there. Prior to the announcement of "Harlequin," Gaga made a series of Instagram posts teasing the "Joker: Folie à Deux" companion album's announcement in late September.
While each post would later be revealed to connect to "Harlequin," one in particular clarified that the roll-out was not for 'LG7, ' as the photo read: "STILL NOT OCTOBER."
With only one Friday left in October, the start of the 'LG7' era seems more imminent than ever. Stay with Lady Gaga Now for updates.

More than two years after its official announcement, “Joker: Folie à Deux” is finally out in theaters worldwide.

The musical sequel to Todd Phillips’ Academy Award-winning “Joker” stars Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck/The Joker, and Lady Gaga as his love interest, Harleen “Lee” Quinzel.
The film’s soundtrack, featuring new renditions of classic songs like Judy Garland’s “Good Morning” and Frank Sinatra’s “That’s Life,” is also available internationally.

The film saw its official premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in September 2024, followed by premieres in London and Los Angeles.

In an interview with Variety, Gaga described Phillips’ “big swing” with the film’s concept and script.
“There’s music, there’s dance, it’s a drama,” Gaga said. “It’s also a courtroom drama, it’s a comedy, it’s happy, it’s sad. It’s a testament to [Todd] as a director, that he would rather be creative than just tell a traditional story of love.”
Gaga and Phoenix performed the musical numbers live on set, accompanied by an off-camera pianist to keep their tempo.

In an interview with Variety, Gaga spoke about how she altered her natural singing voice to fit Lee’s experience, as a character who would not be a professionally trained singer.
“I’m a trained singer, right? So even my breathing was different when I sang as Lee,” Gaga said. “When I breathe to sing on stage, I have this very controlled way to make sure that I’m on pitch and it’s sustained at the right rhythm and amount of time, but Lee would never know how to do any of that. So, it’s like removing the technicality of the whole thing, removing my perceived art-form from it all and completely being inside of who she is.”
Due to Gaga’s “really, really personal” experience with Lee, she still felt inspired by the character after filming wrapped, leading her to record and release “Harlequin,” a companion album to the film.

“When we were done with the movie, I just wasn’t done with her,” Gaga told press at the London premiere. “So, because I’m not done with her, I made ‘Harlequin.’ ”
“Harlequin” includes reimagined numbers featured in the film, as well as two original songs, “Folie à Deux” and “Happy Mistake.”
Gaga performed the latter on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Lady Gaga held a secret taping of her new album 'Harlequin' for fans in Los Angeles on October 1 following the U.S. premiere of 'Joker: Folie À Deux.' Gaga performed the full album for lucky fans at The Belasco, as well as a piano version of her Bruno Mars duet "Die With A Smile". The entire performance filmed between midnight and 2am, although it is unclear when the footage will be released. More spoilers below.
Spoilers:
Gaga started the night off by performing "Good Morning" twice wearing a maroon leather corseted dress, with an introduction from an acapella quartet.  Following "Get Happy" and "Oh, When The Saints," Gaga changed outfits during a "Cramps" band interlude. During the interlude, she joked that "I hope you guys have a horrible time because everyone hates jazz." She wore a dress with a black hat and star belt for the second act and performed "That's Entertainment" several times to get the right cut. Following the second band interlude, Gaga changed into a pink dress with a tutu. During the third act, Gaga played the guitar alongside her band for the song "The Joker." Following her original song "Folie á Deux" from 'Joker,' Gaga changed into her final outfit of the night: a red sweater, which she removed to reveal a floral collar dress underneath. After the final song "That's Life," Gaga tore up a pillow and threw feathers to fans in the audience. Fans were able to buy exclusive 'Harlequin' t-shirts, as well as take photos in a themed photo booth.

After last week's extensive press tour to promote "Joker: Folie à Deux" and its companion album "Harlequin," Lady Gaga walked the black carpet at the film's Los Angeles premiere, hosted at the city's TCL Chinese Theatre.

Gaga stunned on the carpet with bleached brows and a muted red lip. She wore a black, floor-length dress with an accentuated, puffy shoulder sleeve and a crimson red wig. She adorned the outfit with a red-and-green jeweled necklace, black earrings and, of course, her engagement ring.

As she was fielding interview questions on the carpet, Variety asked Gaga when she'll do a "full-on superhero movie," leading her to react with a coy shrug.

Gaga plays Harleen "Lee" Quinzel opposite Joaquin Phoenix in the sequel to 2019's "Joker," which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. The two stars shared a hug on the black carpet ahead of the premiere.

The official Los Angeles premiere comes after a series of screenings in Venice, London and a press screening in Los Angeles last week.
Following the premiere, Gaga hosted a live taping of "Harlequin" with fans.
While in Los Angeles, Gaga will film a performance for Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Oct. 1.

Lady Gaga appeared on the Graham Norton Show on tonight (Friday, Sept. 27) to promote her new film "Joker: Folie à Deux" and its companion album, "Harlequin."

Gaga sat on Norton's infamous red sofa beside Demi Moore, Colin Farrell and Richard Ayoade, dressed in her best Harley Quinn-inspired outfit with cropped, shoulder-length red hair.
On the show, Gaga spoke about her engagement to her longtime partner Michael Polansky. Gaga confessed how Michael proposed on April 1, 2024 – also known as April Fool's Day. Naturally, the first thing she did was laugh, thinking it was a joke.
It was no joke, and while she said yes, she explained how she wanted to keep the whole thing a secret – until she was caught, on video, introducing Michael as her fiancé to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Gaga first spoke publicly about her engagement to Vogue US, where she revealed her mother was the matchmaker who set them up. Gaga recalled how her mother told her, "I think I just met your husband."
Since the engagement, Gaga and Michael released their first artistic collaboration together, "Harlequin."
In a now-cut segment, Gaga revealed that she's "99% free" of pain from her fibromyalgia.
Gaga first spoke about her experience with the chronic illness in Netflix's "Gaga: Five Foot Two" documentary. Fibromyalgia is characterized by widespread, chronic pain, and is also associated with sleep, memory and mood problems.
The disorder caused Gaga to cancel multiple shows due to severe muscle spasms and tightness.
Of course, Gaga had fun with the other guests sharing the red sofa with her. She was introduced to Demi Moore's dog, Pilaf, and the two seemed to hit it off quite nicely.

Gaga will next appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Oct. 1, 2024.
"Harlequin" is out everywhere, and physical copies can be purchased here.
"Joker: Folie à Deux" hits theaters internationally on Oct. 4, 2024.

Just three days after its official announcement, Lady Gaga has released her new album, “Harlequin.”
The project serves as a companion piece to the film “Joker: Folie à Deux,” in which Gaga stars as Harleen “Lee” Quinzel opposite Joaquin Phoenix.
While “Harlequin” includes 11 covers featured in the film and its soundtrack, Gaga re-recorded the songs with new and reimagined production, plus two original songs, “Folie à Deux” and “Happy Mistake.”
In an interview with press at the London premiere of “Joker: Folie à Deux,” Gaga spoke to the inspiration behind creating the album, citing her “really, really personal” experience with her character, Lee.
“When we were done with the movie, I just wasn’t done with her,” Gaga said. “So, because I’m not done with her, I made ‘Harlequin.’ ”

The idea of duality between Gaga and Lee manifests in "Happy Mistake," one of the album's original compositions.
“I wrote ‘Happy Mistake’ as a reflection on and a celebration of all the darkness that has healed me before, and all the dual identities I’ve carried,” Gaga told fans at an exclusive listening party in London ahead of the album’s release.
At the listening party, Gaga played the album twice through as she danced with fans just hours after “Joker: Folie à Deux" premiered.

In an interview with Zane Lowe, Gaga described the album as “vintage pop,” though the album contains influences of jazz, gospel, showtunes, soul and pop standards.
Gaga is expected to release a music video for "The Joker," originally performed by Shirley Bassey, as she posted a clip of herself dancing to the track at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Earlier this month, she was photographed at the museum as a film crew set up outside.

Gaga first teased "Harlequin" with a series of cryptic Instagram posts, each with a phrase against a plain background: "I'm ready for my interview," "Don't tell me what to wear," "No duct tape no mission," "Moondust gets everywhere" and "Still not October," the latter being a reference to a post she made at the 81st Venice International Film Festival that revealed the lead single of LG7 is coming in October.
On Monday, Sept. 23, mysterious billboards alluding to "LG6.5" appeared in New York City and Los Angeles. The next day, Gaga formally announced the album.

“Harlequin” marks Gaga’s first artistic collaboration with her fiancé Michael Polansky, who is credited as a writer on four songs.
Each song is produced by Lady Gaga and her frequent collaborator Benjamin Rice, with the exception of "Happy Mistake," produced by Rice, Lady Gaga and BloodPop, and "That's Life," produced by Lady Gaga, David Campbell and Jason Ruder.

After a long week of press – and a new album announcement – Lady Gaga arrived at the London premiere of “Joker: Folie à Deux” with her fiancé Michael Polansky.
The couple walked the carpet together, with Gaga donning a red-and-black bob and a red, puffy-shouldered jacket over a matching, floor-length gown.

Her makeup contrasts with the rest of the look, as her bleached brows, heavy blue eyeshadow and a single, glitter tear streak stand out against the all-red ensemble.
The look’s color palette is similar to that of the cover of “Harlequin,” Gaga’s companion album to “Joker," releasing this Friday, Sept. 27.
Gaga stopped for photos with co-star Joaquin Phoenix and director Todd Phillips, a pop of color between their black-and-white suits.

On the carpet, Gaga fielded questions from reporters and took photos with fans ahead of the screening.
Gaga plays Harleen “Lee” Quinzel in the sequel to 2019’s “Joker.” The film first premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where both Gaga and Phoenix received acclaim for their performances.
