As the 2021 Grammy Awards were originally supposed to air today, we decided to recap Lady Gaga’s wins, looks, and moments from the past decade to get ready for 63rd Grammy Awards which will now air on March 14th, 2021.
Lady Gaga first attended the Grammy Awards eleven years ago today when she was nominated for five Grammys. Ultimately winning her first two, the star cemented her debut at the award show as a successful one.
Below you’ll find a list of Lady Gaga’s nominations and wins. We also go into some fashion that she donned on us and moments that have become pop culture history.
52nd Grammy Awards (2010)

Along with being nominated for 5 Grammys including Song, Record, and Album of the year, Lady Gaga also opened the show. Arriving in a custom Giorgio Armani gown, she changed for her performance wearing another custom Armani look. She sang Poker Face and then, along with Elton John, began a mashup of Speechless and Elton’s Your Song.
Later in the show, Lady Gaga changed into a final look in which she wore the third custom Armani dress that had a matching headpiece. The purple version of this headpiece would later be used for the arena version of The Monster Ball Tour. Lady Gaga ends the night with two wins, one for Best Dance Recording for Poker Face and Best Dance Album for The Fame.

53rd Grammy Awards (2011)
The 2011 Grammy Awards had a lot of hype around Lady Gaga as she had released her new lead single, Born This Way, two days before the award show. With the song garnering mass popularity and the Grammys stating that Lady Gaga would debut the song at the award show the excitement of Little Monsters was at a peak.

She arrived on the red carpet in an egg shaped “vessel” designed by Hussein Chalayan. Being carried onto the carpet, Lady Gaga never actually stepped on the red carpet herself and the models that walked with her stated that this was part of the performance. After the Aretha Franklin tribute, Lady Gaga performed Born This Way for the very first time. She emerged out of the vessel wearing a latex outfit which was designed by the Haus of Gaga.
Being nominated for six awards, Lady Gaga was visibly excited when glimpses of her sitting in the audience were shown on television. This culminated when she had her first televised Grammy acceptance speech, wearing an outfit that would later be seen on the back cover of the album, Born This Way, she accepted the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster. She also won Grammys for Best Music Video and Best Pop Vocal Performance for Bad Romance. In the speech’s final moment, she thanked Whitney stating:
“When I wrote, Born This Way, I imagined she was singing it because I wasn’t secure enough in myself to imagine I was a superstar.”

54th Grammy Awards (2012)
The 2012 Grammys were held on Sunday, February 12th. The previous day, a year after the song, Born This Way, had been released, Whitney Houston had overdosed and passed away in her hotel room in Beverly Hills. The award show had shifted to a completely somber tone as the night was filled with mourning over the icon.
Being nominated for Pop Vocal Album, Pop Solo Performance, and Album of the Year, Lady Gaga decided not to walk the red carpet due to her sadness over the passing of Houston. She also would not be performing as she was getting ready for her Born This Way Ball Tour. She wore a Versace look and held a matching scepter.

Unfortunately, she went home with no wins and to this day, many Little Monsters believe that her album Born This Way deserved to win for Best Pop Vocal Album.
57th Grammy Awards (2015)
With no nominations for her fourth album, ARTPOP, Lady Gaga took two years off and returned to the Grammy’s in 2015 as a jazz diva. Wearing a Brandon Maxwell silver dress that matched her hair along with a beautiful emerald necklace designed by Lorraine Schwartz, Lady Gaga looked ravishing.

With Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga was nominated for Traditional Vocal Album for their duet album, Cheek to Cheek. They ended up winning the Grammy before the main televised event and Lady Gaga gleamed as she and Tony delivered an amazing performance of the song, Cheek to Cheek.
58th Grammy Awards (2016)
While working with the technology company Intel, Lady Gaga had elaborate plans for her Grammy performance in 2016. However, a month before the show, David Bowie had passed away and the entire music industry paid tribute and mourned together. David Bowie is Lady Gaga's biggest inspiration. It was announced that she would pay tribute to him during the show with the help of Intel’s technology.
In the late summer of 2015, along with Diane Warren, she released a balled written for the film, The Hunting Ground. The haunting Til It Happens to You, received a nomination for Song Written for Visual Media. Although not winning the award, Lady Gaga arrived at the red carpet in a David Bowie inspired Valérie Messika outfit. She then dazzled in her tribute performance and received critical praise for her masterful take on Bowie.
59th Grammy Awards (2017)
After her grand Super Bowl performance, Lady Gaga continued to wow audiences when she appeared at the 2017 Grammy red carpet. In custom Metallica.

She performed their song Moth Into Flame and with this performance, Lady Gaga once again showed her chameleonic musical talent by singing a heavy metal song and amazed audiences with her professionalism as Metallica’s lead singer’s microphone was not working.
60th Grammy Awards (2018)
Lady Gaga attended the 2018 Grammys amid her Joanne World Tour. Arriving to the red carpet in a beautiful Armani gown and an elaborate hairpiece, she was there for her fifth studio album, Joanne, which was released in October of 2016. It was nominated for Pop Vocal Album and its second single, Million Reasons, was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance.

Lady Gaga radiating beauty at the 60th Grammy Awards.
Lady Gaga did not win any of her nominations as both were won by Ed Sheeran. In fact, women did not take many awards home that evening. When fans, artists, and music professionals shared their concerns, the Recording Academy president Neil Portnow at the time stated:
“women who have the creativity in their hearts and souls, who want to be musicians, who want to be engineers, producers, and want to be part of the industry on the executive level” should “step up.”
Not only was this misogynistic statement met with backlash, but it further proved that the Recording Academy had many faults. Portnow stating this during the height of the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements was further proof of how women in Hollywood are treated. Lady Gaga even said “Time’s Up" in her performance. Since then, the Recording Academy has done its best to reverse its ways and include women. Many believe that there is much to be done.

Despite this, Lady Gaga delivered a gorgeous performance of Million Reasons and the third and final single, Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?), a piano version of the title track that was released a week before the Grammys. Performing along with co-writer, Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga sang beautifully as she paid tribute to her late aunt and brought the theme of the album to the Grammy stage. All this, while wearing a gorgeous pink dress as her piano was draped in angelic feathers that were shaped into a heart.
61st Grammy Awards (2019)
The Grammy Awards in 2019 was a fantastic one for Lady Gaga. Coming off her film debut in, A Star Is Born, the lead single off the soundtrack, Shallow, was nominated for four awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. The song won for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written For Visual Media. She was also nominated and won for Best Pop Solo Performance for Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?).
Arriving along Mark Ronson and the other Shallow writers, Lady Gaga wore a sparkly silver gown by Celine. In an attempt to repair the previous year’s lack of acknowledgment of women, the Grammys had Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Lady Gaga deliver a powerful monologue at the start of the show.
“They said I was weird. That my look, my choices, my sound, that it wouldn’t work. But music told me not to listen to them. Music took my ears, took my hands, my voice, and my soul. And it led me to all of you and my Little Monsters that I love so much.”

Returning on stage to accept her and Bradley Cooper’s award for Best Pop Duo/Performance. When it was time to perform, she sang, Shallow, live for the first time. She shined as she delivered a more rock rendition of the track.
62nd Grammy Awards (2020)
Although not attending the Grammys in 2020, Lady Gaga was nominated for three Grammys including Song of the Year for the A Star Is Born's second single, Always Remember Us This Way. She ended up winning two Grammys, one for Best Song Written for Visual Media for a consecutive time for, I’ll Never Love Again, the soundtrack’s third single. She also won Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for A Star Is Born.
63rd Grammy Awards (2021)
With the 63rd Grammys on their way, Lady Gaga has two nominations. One for Pop Duo/Group Performance for her 2020 hit with Ariana Grande, Rain On Me. And for Pop Vocal Album for her sixth studio album, Chromatica.
Although Little Monsters believe that she deserved more nominations, they are still hopeful that Lady Gaga adds two more Grammys to her already 11 wins.
As of today, the 29-time nominee has not announced if she had planned a performance or appearance.

Haus Labs was the 3rd best-selling celebrity makeup brand in 2020, according to Tribe Dynamics. The company earned over $141 million, ranking them third, only behind Fenty Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics.
Lady Gaga launched Haus Labs in September 2019. The company is the very first beauty line to launch exclusively on Amazon. "They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder," Gaga says in the video. "But at Haus Laboratories, we say beauty is how you see yourself."
After the first commercial was released on July 9, 2019, Gaga decided to post one of the promotional pictures revealing how she struggled to embrace her inner and outer beauty when she was young. "I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true."
It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be.

Haus Laboratories officially kicked off with three products in six shades of each: Glam Attack, multi-use liquid eye shadows, RIP Lip Liners, and Le Riot Lip Glosses. Each product is meant to be multi-use ."The applicator on the Glam Attack gives you the opportunity to apply it very heavily, or lighty and shade it out, or to do both. You can use it as a highlighter. You could use it on your lips."
In November 2019, Haus Laboratories launched its first Holiday Collection called ''Cosmic Love'', with a brand new eyeshadow formula called the Glam Attack Metallic Creme, and the brand's first bullet-shaped Sparkle Lipstick in a shade of red called Burlesque.

Following up the release of the first single of ''Chromatica'', Lady Gaga launched the 'Stupid Love Eyeshadow Palette' with 18 high-pigment shades.

On July 31st, the Eye-Dentify Gel Pencil Eyeliner was launched. "We created these so you could write your own stories, develop your own perspectives, and show the world what you want them to see"
Currently, the Haus Labs launched their most recent collection “4-Way Eyeshadow Palette” with 6 different versions of it.

Lady Gaga spoke recently to the American newspaper USA Today, where she talked about her life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gaga revealed she felt powerless over everything that was happening around the world. She also encouraged everyone to move and exercise so that they can have a more active life.
Here is an excerpt from the original interview:
The "Chromatica" singer, 34, told USA TODAY she shares what many people feel during this time: "an epic sense of powerlessness over what's happening in the world."
"We've encountered a super virus that is epic in its disastrous proportions," she said. "So that feeling of powerlessness in some ways is, I think, something that we all share."
The pandemic has energized her in other ways, though, adding that it has "really mobilized me to work on how I can help the world."
Gaga believes hopes it will be "one of the movements that is part of building back our global community and building back our local communities," by showing people that we "can get back to quote-unquote normalcy, but we must do it safely."
"It's been really important to me that I continue to move my body. It's really important for my mental health," she said. "So I've been doing, you know, regular exercises that I would normally do. But I mostly take walks, and I mostly hike. I wear my mask, and I go on hikes."
She said she "used to be really nervous about hikes" because of her chronic pain condition, but she's overcome her concerns.
"I found during COVID that... you can grab the courage that's happening in the universe and grab that bravery and put it right inside yourself and be fearless," she explained.
She hopes others stay active, whether through an online yoga class or a "walk around the block you live on," while the world is "in the midst of a mental health crisis."
"I really encourage people to move their bodies and be in the world. Wear masks, stay safe, but don't forget to move. Because when your energy's stagnant like that, it really can lead to mental health problems," she said. "I really believe that by practicing everyday skills... like moving your body, drinking lots of water, eating healthy, making sure to take care of yourself, self-care – these are things that we have to make sure that we're doing to take care of our minds."

Stupid Love has officially been released as an exclusive on Just Dance Unlimited, and the gameplay has been revealed.
The "coach" in the game is reminiscent of Lady Gaga in the Stupid Love music video. She has pink hair and accessories, as well as high boots and tribal markings. She can even be seen singing along to the song at various parts of the game. Some of the routine's choreography is based off of Lady Gaga's moves in the video.

The background gives off classic Chromatica vibes by taking place on a planet. There are robots and aliens scattered throughout the video.
The gameplay difficulty level for this routine is set to hard. There are two Gold Moves the player can accomplish.
Gold Move 1 where you clasp your hands together and rotate them and your head clockwise:

Gold Move 2 where you form an X with your arms over your chest and spread your legs:

Today is Joe Biden's inauguration and Lady Gaga will be performing the national anthem as she celebrates the commemoration of the 46th president. We look back at some of the most memorable moments of when he and Lady Gaga have come together. The two have always come together for the power of good to bring awareness to causes that are important and personal to the both of them.

Joe Biden and Lady Gaga In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the day before the 2020 preseidental election.
Lady Gaga has always used her fame, platform, and music to stand up for what she believes in. Since the beginning of her career, she has always been outspoken and forward with her political views. On top of this, she has also worked directly with some of the country’s most important politicians.
Her rise to fame really began during the first term of the Obama Administration. During this era, Lady Gaga spent a lot of time speaking and performing at many LGBTQ+ rallies. On top of this, she helped with the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in 2010. In 2011, during her revolutionary Born This Way era, Lady Gaga met with members of the Obama Administration to discuss initiatives regarding anti-bullying after one of her fans, Jamey Rodemeyr, committed suicide. She tweeted:
“Bullying must become illegal. It is a hate crime. I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end.”
After establishing a rapport with the administration, she continued to use her platform to talk about things that were important to her.
In 2014, the Obama Administration founded the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault. Joe Biden became a co-chair of the Task Force and began to publicly work and campaign for the cause calling it the “It’s On Us” movement.
In the summer of 2013, during her promotional release of her album, ARTPOP, Lady Gaga had revealed that she was sexually assaulted at the age of 19. The song, Swine, is about this and she began to publicly advocate on surviving such a traumatic experience.

Lady Gaga headlining the iTunes Festival in London on September 1st, 2013.
Continuing to spread awareness on the issue of sexual abuse, Lady Gaga teamed up with Diane Warren to write a song for the documentary, The Hunting Ground, a film about campus sexual assaults, which was released in 2015. Writing about her personal experience, Til It Happens to You, is about dealing with mental health and the thoughts and turbulations that happen in someone’s mind after a traumatic sexual experience. The song was nominated for Best Original Song at the 88th Academy Awards in 2016, and out of all of the songs, Lady Gaga’s performance was kept for last as it was introduced by Vice President Joe Biden. He stated:
“Too many women and men, on and off college campuses, are still victims of sexual abuse. And tonight, I’m asking you to join millions of Americans, me, President Obama, the thousand students I’ve met on college campuses, and the artist here tonight. To take the pledge. A pledge that says: I will intervene in situations when consent has not or cannot be given. Let’s change the culture!”
After her momentous performance, Lady Gaga joined Vice President Joe Biden to help promote the It’s On Us movement. On April 7, 2016 she joined him at the University of Nevada Las Vegas as his campaign traveled through many college campuses. When asked about why he chose Lady Gaga as an ambassador for the cause, he said:
“Lady Gaga is brave and sincere. She is a survivor who has the courage to speak out, and I know how difficult it can be. We’ve talked at length, and I admire her courage – everyone can see it because it’s on display. She encourages so many other women to step forward.”
After being introduced, she performed Til It Happens To You, and then gave a speech stating:
“We have to support each other; we have to care for one another. And what I’ve learned is that the most powerful form of healing is compassion.”
Even after the administration had ended, Joe Biden and Lady Gaga continued to advocate for the It’s On Us movement. In 2017, they came together again to release a video urging people to take a stand against sexual assault. This was evident of the times as the #MeToo movement and the Time’s Up movement began gaining a lot of traction. These movements tackled the treatment, assault, and unfairness that women experience in Hollywood.
Never straying from sharing her political beliefs, the icon joined Joe Biden in 2020. This time as a presidential candidate during his presidential campaign in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was his final rally before the historic election and she performed her chart topper, Shallow, and hit single You and I. When speaking to the crowd she stressed the importance of the election as well as how Pennsylvania was a key swing state.
“I know I believe in Joe Biden…Because like me, you’ve experienced the last four years and have all the evidence you need to look at this choice and know in your heart without any doubt that Joe Biden is the right choice.”
She later takes a jab at presidential failure, Donald Trump stating:
“Everybody, no matter how you identify, now is your chance to vote against Donald Trump, a man who believes his fame gives him the right to grab one of your daughters, or sisters, or mothers or wives by any part of their bodies. Vote for Joe, he’s a good person.”
The last four years in the United States have been incredibly tumultuous. Even during a presidency and administration that did not approve or like her, Lady Gaga continued to inspire and use her voice for good.

Lady Gaga performing at Joe Biden's final presidential campaign rally.

It was announced that Lady Gaga was to perform the national anthem for the Biden-Harris inauguration on January 20th at 11:30 am ET.
And on January 20th, 2021 Lady Gaga performed a tear-jerking performance of, The Star-Spangled Banner, at the 46th President of the United States Joseph R. Biden's inauguration the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
We are sure that her relationship with President Joe Biden will only grow and the two “buddies” will continue changing the world and helping those who need it.

The Beloved Community Awards honoured Lady Gaga on January 16th with the Yolanda King "High Ground" Award.
The artist and founder of the Born This Way Foundation received the Yolanda Denise King "Higher Ground" Award for her activism during the summer of 2020 when tensions in the United States arose after the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The #BlackLivesMatter movement is said to be the largest movement in history, and Lady Gaga addressed the movement and her support many times.
Prior to the event, Lady Gaga released a statement about the honour:
Gaga spoke about Unlearning and how important it is for white people to commit to it. "Black lives matter. Black life matters. Blackness matters. Black joy matters. White people, I believe that black life represents the best of our nation. And as white people I believe that we have a responsibility to unlearn, to accept the honest truth about the history of our country, admit that white supremacy makes us unhealthy, and change our own behaviours to contribute to a world where freedom is real for everyone."
The singer also denounced white supremacy: "Systems of white supremacy were designed by humans. They are literally socially constructed, which means they can be dismantled by humans. I believe that one way freedom can be possible is when white people accept that systems of oppression serve us while literally taking the lives of people of colour."
Gaga ended her speech with the following: "In the Beloved Community of our future, we, black, brown, indigenous, and white people, embrace our collective humanity. Let us use love, criticality, and empathy to pour water on the flames of hatred and division. Let us use honesty, radical acceptance, and measurable action, so that freedom is truly possible. With an open, humble, and fearfully optimistic heart, I invite all of us, and especially white people, to join me on the path to a beloved community. I believe that justice can finally begin to be realized, at least in part, when and if folks who look like me commit to a lifetime of unlearning. I love you. Thank you so much."

This ceremony, which was originally named The Salute to Greatness Awards, recognizes those on a national and international level who are committed to and have pursued the quest for social justice and peaceful change in the world. This event takes place annually in preparation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the United States. Jennifer Hudson will present the Yolanda Denise King "Higher Ground" award to Lady Gaga. The Oprah Winfrey Network, Philanthropist Charles F. Feeney, and Mari "Little Miss Flint" Copeny are among the list of other honorees.
You can register for the free online event here, and follow TheKingCenter on Twitter for live updates.
Back in May 2020, Lady Gaga decided to raise her voice to speak about the ''systemic racism and corrupt systems that support it'' during the Black Lives Matter protests that took place after the tragic death of George Floyd.
''Right now is a critical time for the black community to be supported by all other communities so we can put a stop to something that is intrinsically wrong by the grace of God or whatever creator you do or do not believe in''
The next month, Lady Gaga decided to give away her Instagram account to some of the organizations she donated to, in an effort to amplify their voices, and some days later she appeared in Youtube's "Dear Class of 2020" revealing she had to rewrite her speech.
“You are watching what is a pivotal moment in this country’s evolution, you are watching society change in a deeply important way. This change will be slow, and we will have to be patient. But change will happen, and it will be for the better.”
Lady Gaga has continued to be a pioneer for universal social justice. Most recently, she has taken to Twitter to condemn the domestic terrorists that attacked the United States Capitol on January 6th and to demand the impeachment of President Trump.

Lady Gaga took to Twitter to voice her concerns over removing President Trump from office via the 25th US Amendment.
Section 1 of the 25th Amendment states:
The vice president shall become president if the current one dies, resigns, or is removed from office.
Lady Gaga pointed out that this will not disqualify President Trump from running for reelection in the future, and that one of the ways lawmakers can prevent this is to push for impeachment. She continued on to say that he incited domestic terrorism with his extremist followers.
This tweet came after the US Capitol breach where President Trump and Rudy Guiliani (former Mayor of NYC and current legal team member for Trump) instigated mob violence that led to domestic terrorists rioting. Hundreds of nationalists and fascists broke into the United States Capitol building claiming election fraud and demanding President Elect Joe Biden not be sworn in. They wanted the Electoral vote count to be stopped. However, after the National Guard was called in and the city was put under curfew, the count continued and Joe Biden was officially certified the next President of the United States.

This domestic terrorist attack led to at least 5 dead, over 50 injured, and only over 65 arrests.

This is the type of violence Lady Gaga was referring to in her tweet and why she believes he needs to be impeached.

The GayTimes have released their end of the year list of which LGBTQ+ artists have dominated the airwaves, and Lady Gaga has made the cut.
The magazine named Chromatica as one of the "20 Best Albums of 2020 by LGBTQ+ Artists."

They say of her sixth studio album: "A mainstream accolaid, there’s an undeniable flair associated with Gaga’s sized up camp electro-pop dominating tracklist. Chromatica was an unquestioned staple in and outside our office, and long stood as a maximalist playing field of feelgood pop and performance. Gaga skillfully wallows in the dark undertones of her galactic sonicscape, while smothering the record in personal pop synths and lyricists. Still, Gaga pulls off a gregarious record destined for sociable dancefloors and scream-along chorus’ at concerts. A top bid for 2020."
The website also named Rain on Me as one of the "20 Best Songs of 2020 by LGBTQ+ Artists."

They say of her duet with Ariana Grande: "We may have been stuck indoors for most of the year, but Mother Monster still managed to whisk us away to Chromatica. With a mammoth pop anthem like Rain On Me at the helm, it was the getaway we all sorely needed."
Lady Gaga has open about her sexuality since the start of her career. She has referenced being bisexual numerous times in various songs over the past decade. During the promotional period of her fourth studio album, ARTPOP, she answered a question about the authenticity of her orientation, “It’s not a lie that I am bisexual and I like women, and anyone that wants to twist this into ‘she says she’s bisexual for marketing,’ this is a f*cking lie. This is who I am and who I have always been.”

As a pioneer in queer activism over the past 12+ years, it only makes sense for Lady Gaga to be featured on both the Best Songs/Albums by LGBTQ+ Artists lists.

The smash hit from the 2018 film, A Star Is Born, just entered the Top 40 most purchased songs in the United Kingdom.
Over the years, Shallow has received tremendous success. First, charting at Number 1 in the United Kingdom and United States, to winning an Oscar. It has been charting almost every single week since its release spending a total inside the top 100 official singles for 89 weeks. During this time it has become the most awarded single of all time and one of the most streamed and downloaded tracks ever.
Despite falling from the official singles charts, it has never dropped outside the iTunes Chart 100 in the UK. Before the Christmas season, the movie A Star Is Born was added to Amazon Prime which saw the song lift even higher into the charts but was soon halted by the wave of seasonal favorites swamping Shallow back a bit. Since then, it has seen another rise and it is now at 34 which is it’s highest peak for 2020. It seems Shallow has cemented itself as a permanent hit and is continuing to sell and stream well. The song also hit one billion views earlier in December making it Lady Gaga's second video to do this.

The British DJ shares what it was like to work on Lady Gaga's third single, 911.
Interviewing with Lady Gaga Today, Weiss shares his experience on what it was like crafting one of the three officially released remixes for Lady Gaga's catchy 911. He shares that his experience started in late September when his team presented the song to him.
He immediately began working on it and goes on to say that the song and the process of remixing it reminded him of the 90's because it was like:
"...when you'd have someone like Frankie Knuckles remix Madonna or someone like that."
He goes on to elaborate that it was important that the remix should differentiate from the original version of the song and that adding a more 90's house sound to the track was what he wanted. Weiss continues to share that he was very honored to be remixing a Lady Gaga song and that working with Lady Gaga's team was a pleasure.
When asked if he planned on working with her or anything related to her, he said:
"I got told they might be using my version from some of her live performances so that's pretty exciting"!

As Lady Gaga returns to her spot as the top Dance/Electronic Artist, we take a closer look at where she and her music placed on Billboard’s 2020 Year-End Charts.
Returning to her roots, Lady Gaga began 2020 with the release of, Stupid Love, the first single off her newest album, Chromatica. The tumultuous year saw the release of the second single, Rain On Me, amid a global pandemic. However, this did not dim its success as the song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The initial planned release of her new studio album did not go as planned as Lady Gaga decided to withhold her album to focus on helping the world during the pandemic as well as give space, time, and a platform for the #BlackLivesMatter movement that swept the United States in the spring and summer.

Norbert Schoerner

Reclaiming her throne as the Top Dance/Electronic Artist, Lady Gaga has achieved her goal of returning to her dance-pop roots. The charts indicate that the pop titan is able to masterfully keep her fans engaged as Rain On Me and Chromatica debuted at number one. Even her older music has been enjoyed by listeners as Poker Face, Bad Romance, and her debut album The Fame (2008) all have spots on Billboard’s 2020 year-end chart. Also, A Star Is Born continues to captivate audiences as it was the fourth best selling soundtrack of 2020. The single, Shallow,  also continues to charm listeners as it just reached a billion views on YouTube last week.
In July, Bloomberg Magazine named Lady Gaga the world's biggest star due to the chart success and sales of her Chromatica album. It garnered 400,000 units in the album's first month. During that first month, she also became the most listened to artist on Spotify while simultaneously holding the number one spot on YouTube with almost 189 million views. According to ChartMasters.org, as of December 2020, Chromatica has achieved 680,000 units in the United States. Rain On Me has 542,000 units, Stupid Love is at 264,000 , and Sour Candy is at 194,000 units.
In Chromatica's first week, Billboard reports that it debuted with 274,000 units as well as having 87.16 million on-demand streams, which at the time was the highest numbers seen for a pop album. When interviewing about making the album, Lady Gaga said:
"I'm a savage when I want to write a pop song".

Hello to everyone that is returning and also to anyone who is joining us for the first time. I am delighted to announce that Lady Gaga Now is finally back online.
The last year has brought many challenges to everyone. It has been a difficult year for us here at Lady Gaga Now. The shock of having your life's work erased from existence brought me many challenges and left me in a position where I could really take the time to reflect on the future.
It's no secret that GagaNow made many enemies on its path to today, but I never thought they would harm the whole community. To be honest, the hate never bothered me as I'm a very positive person by nature. However, this time they hit at the core and it hurt. The pain presented me great difficulties, but also made me reflect about how I wanted to move forward. Everyone knows that I care about about Little Monsters' welfare, but most of all I believe in Lady Gaga's message of kindness and positivity. And so I decided to start everything again with a new purpose. I want this community to be kinder and open.  I want your stories, art, and voices to be heard, and I hope I'll manage to give each one of you, the space and respect you all deserve. I want the intention of Lady Gaga Now to be the driving force in how it differentiates itself from its competition.
I do not think that what I do here is better than other places, it is just different. Different in its purpose.
With this new goal in mind the amazing team that worked so hard day and night to bring back everything in record time was able to recover more than 7 years of work in just 5 months. This includes all 140,000+ images in GAGAIMAGES, all the latest articles, and many more surprises that I will now briefly explain.
Thank you for sticking with us, I will forever be grateful for your endless support.
Thank you to everyone who sent donations to help us recover the website so fast.
Thank you to Lady Gaga's team, especially the superlative Bobby Campbell who believes in our community and gave me the strength to go forward.
Enjoy the journey and welcome back!
Matteo

The Layout
The layout of a website is almost as important as its content. For a web developer like me, it has been so challenging to create a total new experience that still felt familiar. So I'm happy to show you the 3 new themes of GagaNow.net. You can pick them using the new button on the top bar.

The new Chromatica layout has been developed to give you the most colorful experience possible. Following the most modern Flat Style Design, this theme features a rainbow animation up to reflects Lady Gaga's latest album cycle.
If you are a person who loves options, you can explore Lady Gaga Now by changing it to the Dark Chromatica theme. Enjoy this dark fantasy with a layout created for viewing in low lit areas.

Thank you to a veteran monster, @Twitter, I've revamped our forum to give you a brand new, safe, and positive space to discuss your favorite topics. Kindness is the key here at Lady Gaga Now does not allow any forms of racism, xenophobia, discrimination. Anything deemed as bullying or hateful will result in consequences. Lady Gaga Now + The Mighty
I'm very proud of this one.
In the last few months we have lost one too many Little Monsters due to suicide. It is incredibly heartbreaking to read their story for such a long time and having the knowledge that it is now too late to do anything. The truth is that it is never too late to help the others. I've seen with my own eyes that this fanbase has a good and kind soul. Monsters writing "my dms are open" or "please talk to me if you need to", are the the ones who embrace better the spirit and message of Lady Gaga and Lady Gaga Now. I've been working hard to give a safe space and a voice to those fans who might need support and do not know where to find it. We want to help as much as we can.

Thanks to our friends at the Born This Way Foundation, we were put in contact with The Mighty so we are now able to offer a safe place. The Mighty is an association and an online community whose main goal of giving a space to people who are in need, want to share their stories, and want to be heard. Thanks to their amazing community, hundreds of people have been able to support each other by joining the online video groups and message groups.
Lady Gaga Now will now offer a similar experience in the forum. It is an extension provided by The Mighty community. I'm also working on an anonymous way of posting so that those who are more shy can feel comfortable. For now, you can still share your story behind your private account.
More details of our collaboration with The Mighty will come soon.
In the meantime join their community, or download their mobile app. It's really worth it.
The Forum Game
We are here to keep you engaged!
At first I thought leaks and outtakes was the best way to keep people interested, but following the Billboard news-drama that I delivered back in January, and the sudden leak of Stupid Love I didn't feel comfortable anymore about sharing details about upcoming plans as Lady Gaga Now is a respectful place to everyone, including Lady Gaga and her team. So I decided to step back and give you guys something with a real value: prizes.

Starting January 2021, the forum will host a new type of giveaway:
Every two weeks, the most active user will receive a special prize from us. The two most active users will receive a Golden Pit Standing tickets to the Chromatica Ball in Paris each.
To join the game, you simply have to post and reply on our forum. Each new topic will grant you 3 points, replies and positive reactions will grant you 1 point. Posting in the Mental Health section will grant you 5 points for each new topic, and 3 points for each answer.
Spamming, receiving negative reactions, or posting toxic comments will make you loose points or get disqualified from the game. The users atop the leaderboard will win one prize from the drawing. A small leaderboard will be always available on the dashboard and on the forum. Our LGN Mobile App will feature a complete leaderboard.
Each user can win up to 1 prize during the whole game. However, even those who already won something can still win the final prize.
The game is open worldwide. The tickets will be delivered on the venue to ensure that they don't get resold. If the concert will get cancelled we will try to find replacement prizes. We reserve the right to cancel a win at any time.
Here are the prizes.

The Gallery
GAGAIMAGES is back! The original and most updated Lady Gaga gallery on the whole web is now available for everyone to use.
The main set of pictures will be available to everyone for free. Candids and pictures from the events will be available only to users with an active account on the website. All pictures have now been resized to deliver a faster experience, so do not worry if you open a picture and it doesn't looks massive as before. The original pictures are always available after you'll click the "download button".
To avoid batch downloading I set a limit to 50 daily downloads and 5GB of traffic from each user. The limits resets every 24 hours.
The MEME section is also back, feel free to upload all the gaga-related memes in your gallery!

Thank you to my new team of collectors @hiimer0s, @Pabllo, @GagaXCollection, @Juan & @dayvisxn  for helping me re-upload and re-ordering ALL albums by date. This fanbase should make you all a statue!
Also, you might want to look at some albums in the next day, you might find some surprises.
The App
The LGN Mobile App will soon be back online on the App Store as well as for Androids in the Play Store along with the loved notification system.
Unfortunately Apple reviewers are on holiday, so the app will be on again from earlier January. But don't worry, as soon as it will be operative we will start working on it to make the mobile experience even bigger with games, a gallery, and much much more!

The Welcome Back Giveaway
To celebrate the re-opening of Lady Gaga Now, we teamed up with Instagram artist GagaStackFigure to gift you an exclusive Lady Gaga action figure. We will randomly pick a user that will join our forum starting today to December 31. You must follow GagaStackFigures on Instagram as well.
The user will be picked on Instagram and the figure will be sent later in January as soon as Amaury, the artist, will print his next creation.
Good luck!

You
I really hope you guys enjoy the new website, I developed everything with love. I really can't wait to hear your feedbacks. Your messages and reviews are always welcomed, just like your help. The leak section has been moved under "contact us", a new section that everyone can use to reach out to us, wether is to ask for help, send us media or let us know about something we missed.
What's Coming Next
There is always something to do. Ideas keep coming and the Lady Gaga Now team take all of our projects incredibly seriously. We are about them and put our everything into it. We are working hard to bring back our merchandise shop so that we can give platforms to young designers. We just ask you to be patient, many other stores have popped up, and many other will come, but we assure you that the quality you'll find with us won't be available elsewhere.
With that said, we have many secret projects coming soon! And with new Lady Gaga music on the way in the new year we hope we will manage to keep you guys entertained!
Thank you everyone, Stay safe.
Thank you to my LadyGagaNow family

Lady Gaga has broken two more Guinness World Records with her One World: Together At Home online music festival.
The records are:
- Most Money Raised for Charity by a Remote Music Festival
- Most Musical Acts to Perform at a Remote Music Festival
Instead of releasing her sixth studio album, Chromatica, on its scheduled date, Lady Gaga pushed it back in favor of curating the giant online benefit concert in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This remote music festival with 72 celebrities brought in $127,900,000 to support efforts by the COVID-19 Solidaritthe Response Fund for the World Health Organization.

Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records, said of the concert: "The One World: Together at Home special was an extraordinary response to an extraordinary situation. It demonstrates vividly how the power of music can unite us all and help us through challenging times. It's an honor to be able to officially recognize this unforgettable, "I-Was-There" event as a record-breaker.”

With these two added, this brings Lady Gaga's Guinness World Records count to 14.
