  1. Lady Gaga took to social media to post the album cover for the upcoming Original Soundtrack for Top Gun: Maverick, coming out May 27th. Gaga is credited as one of the composers for the movie soundtrack, alongside music legends Lorne Balfe, Harlod Faltermeyer, and Hans Zimmer. It was revealed earlier today that Gaga's Hold My Hand was incorporated into movie's OST by Hans Zimmer. You can pre-order the soundtrack here and stream/purchase Hold My Hand here.

Cynthia spoke with Drew Barrymore about how she helped her daughters, Stefani and Natalie, cope with struggles growing up, and what led her to launch The Born This Way Foundation with Lady Gaga, back in 2012. The collaboration between the legendary brand and the icon herself - Lady Gaga, enters another chapter, with the release of another limited edition bottle, officially titled Dom Pérignon Luminous. The new bottle has been described as a "pulsating energy and irresistible radiance.” You can purchase the previous limited-edition bottles, designed by Gaga herself, HERE. Dom Pérignon announced that the new Luminous limited edition bottle will be available in top nightclubs in the world’s most vibrant destinations and high-energy hotspots.
  5. Lady Gaga made a flamboyant return to Las Vegas, with the brand new April and May 2022 leg of her Jazz & Piano concert residency. With her first Jazz & Piano show since October 2021, Gaga charmed the packed Dolby Live at Park MGM belting selected evergreens from the Great American Songbook including songs from her GRAMMY winning collaborative album with Tony Bennett - Love For Sale. Last night, BTS member J-Hope was in attendance, and he took pics with Gaga backstage. Lady Gaga is set to perform for 8 more dates in the upcoming days, with a last show on May 1st.
  6. Lady Gaga had a very busy Oscars night! Lady Gaga first co-hosted the 2022 edition of Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Viewing Party. The annual Oscars viewing party took place in West Hollywood Park, with Gaga being a first time co-host alongside Billy Porter and Eric McCormack. Elton's husband and chairman of the AIDS Foundation David Furnish, previously announced that they are "honored to have this group that will advocate for all marginalized groups affected by HIV". Lady Gaga, with Elton John's husband and kids Lady Gaga & Billy Porter Next Gaga teased fans with an appearance at the 94th Annual Academy Awards where she presented Best Picture. That wasn’t the only surprise as Cabaret superstar Liza Minnelli joined her on stage to announce the top prize.   7. Lady Gaga received the prestigious NYFCC award for Best Actress for her role in House of Gucci, at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards ceremony, held in New York City. Lady Gaga made an appearance at tonight's NYFCC gala to accept her award for the role in Ridley Scott-directed House of Gucci. During the ceremony, Lady Gaga gave a touching speech after a spectacular introduction by director Guillermo del Toro. The NYFCC winners were announced last year in December, one of the first awards given this season, with the ceremony scheduled to take place on January 10th 2022, but due to the rise in COVID-19 cases throughout the country, the ceremony was rescheduled and held on March 16th at TAO Downtown Restaurant in Manhattan, NYC. The New York Film Critics Circle (NYFCC) is an American film critic organization founded in 1935. The NYFCC Awards are the oldest given by film critics in the USA, and one of the most prestigious. The Circle’s membership includes critics from daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, magazines, and qualifying online general-interest publications. Along with Los Angeles Film Critics Association and the National Society of Film Critics, the NYFCC is known for its highbrow taste that honors aesthetic merit in a forum immune to commercial and political pressures.   8. Lady Gaga served at the Critics Choice Awards red carpet, right after she finished with the BAFTAs. Gaga was nominated for Best Actress for her role in House of Gucci. She already attended the BAFTAs red carpet and ceremony in London, grabbing everyone's attention with her incredible fashion and style. See more about Gaga at the BAFTAs here. Right after they finished with the BAFTAs, Gaga was joined by her boyfriend Michael Polansky and Haus of Gaga members in Savoy Hotel in London, where they were part of the Critics Choice Awards.   9. Lady Gaga's beauty brand Haus Labs announced a new phase that is bringing plenty of innovation in its already successful campaign. Haus Labs announced that they added more then 60 new team members, including 4 new Vice Presidents, 2 new Sr Directors and 4 newly rebuilt departments (product development, packaging, marketing, creative). New Haus Laboratories Vice Presidents and Sr Directors include people who worked for Prada, Sephora, Kat Von D and Addison Rae. The newly announced employees are some of the most experienced and successful professionals in the beauty and retail industry, that will help the brand growth along with the founding members. The mission is to take Haus Labs into a new chapter with the "groundbreaking products, formulations, and packaging". New team effort is already paying off since Haus Labs was recently nominated and won several accolades from beauty and fashion press, as well as continued product sell outs for new and core items. Blu-ray bonus featurettes include special interviews with Lady Gaga and her fellow actors Jared Leto and Salma Hayek, as well as costume designer Janty Yates and producer Giannina Scott.   12. Ridley Scott's "House of Gucci" received 3 nominations at the 75th BAFTA Awards. Lady Gaga got nominated for Best Actress for her leading role. Lady Gaga's makeup artist Sarah Tanno and hairstylist Frederic Aspiras received a nomination for Best Movie Makeup and Hairstyling, and the movie itself scored a third nomination for Best British Film. Lady Gaga scored her third BAFTA nomination, following her critically acclaimed performance in Ridley Scott directed House of Gucci. Gaga was already nominated for Best Actress and Best Original Music for A Star Is Born back in 2019, and she won the latter, becoming the first woman to win the award in history. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) is a world-leading independent arts charity that celebrates excellence, discovers, inspires and nurtures new talent, and it is widely regarded as the most important cinematic award in UK, as well as being one of the most important awards of the Award Season that culminates with the Oscars.   14. Lady Gaga expressed her gratitude towards Dom Pérignon for their support of her Born This Way Foundation. Gaga shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram thanking champagne brand Dom Pérignon for their donation to Born This Way Foundation. The donation sourced from a Limited-Edition Sculpture by Lady Gaga for Dom Pérignon, limited to 110. Dom Pérignon's profits were given to Gaga's BTW Foundation.   15. Lady Gaga appeared as a guest on the January 24th episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Gaga sat down to chat with Kimmel and discuss her critically acclaimed role in House of Gucci. Gaga also touched upon her experience performing at the Super Bowl, revealing that her sister Natali bedazzled the football that she caught at the end of her performance, and that it was thrown to her by a real quarterback. As the interview wrapped up, Gaga revealed that the classic “Father, Son, and House of Gucci” line was actually a prayer she would say to herself every day in her trailer, that naturally made it into the movie.   16. Lady Gaga graced the cover of W Magazine's "Best Performances" Issue. Gaga was interviewed by Lynn Hirschberg, speaking about her performance in House of Gucci. The shoot was photographed by Tim Walker and styled by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout. In the interview, Gaga gave further insight into how she found the character of Patrizia Reggiani. “I felt Patrizia would dance like she was underwater, like she was coming up for air,” she said of the early disco scenes when she first meets Maurizio Gucci. “Everything about her had to do with striving. At the disco, she knew she was seen—and, in a way, it was the last time she was free.” When asked if she was sad to let the role go at the end of production, Gaga noted, “On the last day of filming, I was on the balcony of my apartment in Rome, and I was blasting Dean Martin singing "Mambo Italiano," and I had a cigarette hanging out of my mouth. I was Patrizia. But I knew I had to say goodbye to her: Large swarms of flies kept following me around, and I truly began to believe that she had sent them.   17. Lady Gaga has received another Best Actress award for her role in House of Gucci at the prestigious Capri Hollywood International Film Festival. According to Italian ANSA, the winners of Capri Hollywood International Film Festival, were announced yesterday, January 3rd in Naples, Italy. Among the winners is Lady Gaga, who was also dubbed Italian American Actress of the Year. The Capri Hollywood International Film Festival is held annually since 1995. It is one of the most elite global film festivals in the world, with the mission of consolidating the cultural bridge between the Italian peninsula and the rest of the world, celebrating Italian-American heritage in Hollywood while recognizing legendary talents of the filmmaking industry. The festival is often referred to as "the last major film festival of the year" and "a key stopping point on the road to the Academy Awards". Source

Gaga was interviewed by Anne Thompson, who said that Gaga will surely land an Oscar nod for her performance in House of Gucci, but noted that it will not be Gaga's last time having Oscar gold. The duo performed a selection of Cole Porter classics from their latest album, the GRAMMY-nominated Love For Sale. Watch highlights from the special below. MTV Unplugged showcases "stripped down, intimate performances" that allow artists to "share sincere and impactful moments with their fans around the world." Tony Bennett first performed for MTV Unplugged in 1994. The live album version of his special won Album Of The Year and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 37th Grammy Awards.

  23. Lady Gaga got nominated for another Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her role in House of Gucci. Lady Gaga already won two Golden Globes, her first one was back in 2016, when she won her very first acting award for portraying Countess Elizabeth in American Horror Story: Hotel, and her second was for Shallow in 2019. She was already nominated for Best Actress in a musical/comedy movie for A Star Is Born, and this is her second film nomination. The Golden Globe Awards, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), faced criticism over their lack of member diversity. The HFPA announced plans for a reform, however many industry members and studios opted to boycott the upcoming ceremony. NBC also announced that it would not televise the 2022 ceremony, but the HFPA is still planning to hold the 79th Golden Globe Awards anyway on January 9, 2022, the same day the Critics Choice Movie Awards ceremony will take place on NBC. So far, it is unknown how and where will the Golden Globe Awards ceremony take place nor if Lady Gaga will attend.

Gaga shared how she felt on the set being directed by the legendary Ridley Scott and the star-studded cast, who she felt gave her a masterclass in acting. Gaga also spoke about how she interacts with the audience and how she balances being a musician and an actress as well. She added that everybody should watch the movie in theaters and hopes that it will bring joy to all the moviegoers.
