Madonna’s music video for Human Nature. Just saying. Yet again!

what is madonna the only one that can wear this type of body suit? the heels and head piece r very gaga, i dont see a resemblance… #stfu

Because,Chris D Talero, it seems only Madonna is permitted to wear any clothes Madonna has ever worn, speak any words Madonna has ever spoken, sing songs in any meter and rhythm than Madonna has ever used, have opinions on any issues that Madonna has addressed, have hair the color of any hair color Madonna has ever had, breathe any air Madonna has already breathed, or, essentially, be anything Madonna has ever been. All female pop stars are but pale imitations of Madonna, who invented everything. At least according to the poor, sad, pitiful people who continue to cling to an aging, irrelevant, and increasingly unpleasant old lady.

Yes, BitterOldQueen. Exactly because of those reasons. I see some little monsters have brains after all. In order for Lady Gaga to truly be(-come) the revolutionary artist that everybody (herself included) claims her to be, she simply must try to be more original. It isn’t that hard. Madonna is far from original, I’ll admit that. But for her to rise above Madonna (which she has yet to do, she probably wants to do and might never be able to do) in terms of stature, the terrible habit of referencing/copying other artists must be eliminated. Wouldn’t you rather have a star who is able to come up with new types of clothes, new types of words, new types of songs, new types of opinions, someone who is capable of addressing new issues and playing around with new combinations of hair colours, someone who comes up with new inventions? Wouldn’t you? The world still has lots of unexplored terrain (creative fields). There just has to be that one person who has the balls to go and investigate and find it. That person may claim the revolutionary title. Lady Gaga, however, is veering away from it. She has a choice. She simply chooses to make the wrong one (or in your mind: the only one there is). I may comment on her apparent choice. That doesn’t make my any poorer, any sadder or anymore pitiful. It makes me smart, observant and opinionated. As for Madonna being called an “ageing, irrelevant, and increasingly unpleasant old lady”, I pose to you the following question: when Lady Gaga is 50 years old and possibly still a big name in music, are you still going to be her fan? The ageing process doesn’t bother me one bit. It’s natural. But to link the ageing process to the process of becoming increasingly irrelevant is unhealthy. When you’re 60, 70 or 80 years old, do you want to be thought of as old and irrelevant? No. None of us do. So, stop it. You’re definitely not helping yourself (or Lady Gaga) in any way here.

(First, it’s delightful — seriously — to argue with someone who can string words together effectively, even if we don’t agree.) I have no problem with aging (I do it myself). I have a problem with Madonna, who absolutely revolutionized pop some time ago, but has contributed nothing new in 20 years of preening self-importance, taking to the stage to promote songs that would have embarassed her 30 years ago, and behaving like she’s still 20-something and shocking. She’s neither, and would be revolutionary today if she blazed a trail for how 50 year old popstars can amaze, not for how they can pitifully try to act like they’re still young. As for Gaga, she’s doing exactly what Madonna did, I agree: She’s amalgamating and synthesizing previous work, combining and interweaving influences, and producing something that, while still vaguely familiar, is nonetheless new. That’s kinda how pop evolves. Madonna did the same thing, and we called her a revolutionary (but she did not invent dance beats, vocoders, or nudity). In the end, the Madge v Gaga thing is tiresome and pointless: They make music, they sing songs, I dance and sing along. It’s not Nobel Prize stuff, it’s pop.

madonna copyed everyone under the sun,and even went as far as stealing songs from other’s with a twist of her own,i love the woman but l could never compare the two woman music wise,Madonna’s music is more fun and mindless,Lady GaGa’s music is much more deep in meaning,i think that could be the reason she pisses so many people off?Lady GaGa strike a cord, she hits home, any way’s both woman will be around a long long time, there both pricelss in there own way,and i love them both………..
