Lady Gaga Scores 2 Nominations for the 2021 Grammy Awards
The nominations for the 63rd Grammy Awards were announced yesterday, November 24. Lady Gaga has been nominated in two categories: - Best Pop Vocal Album: Chromatica - Best Pop Duo Performance: Rain On Me with Ariana Grande With these 2 new nominations, Gaga is now a 29x Grammy Awards nominee. Out of those 29 nominations she has 11 wins so far. The 2021 Grammys, which will be hosted by Emmy-winner Trevor Noah, will air live on CBS, on January 3, 2021.

Lady Gaga Honours Late Aunt at Lupus Research 2020 Virtual Fundraising Event
The Lupus Research Alliance (LRA) hosted their 2020 Virtual Fundraising Event on Monday, November 23rd. Lady Gaga took part in the event in order to honour her late aunt, Joanne Germanotta, who passed away at just 19 years old while battling the disease. The special tribute performance was a never-before-seen HQ video of Lady Gaga performing Grammy-winning "Joanne" during the Joanne World Tour. Before the performance aired, the LRA shared the following statement: "In 2017, Lady Gaga wrote an entire album dedicated to and about her family and named after her late aunt. The title song, Joanne, tells the story that Gaga imagined young Joe would be saying to his sister as she was suffering and dying from Lupus. The song was a critical and commercial hit, winning a Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance and becoming a fan favorite. To celebrate Joanne and her fight with Lupus, we are pleased to premiere this never before shared performance of Lady Gaga singing the song during her Joanne World Tour. Lady Gaga to Perform at the LRA’s Lupus Research 2020 Virtual Fundraising Event
Lady Gaga has been announced as performer at The 2020 Lupus Research Gala on Monday, November 23rd . According to the LRA: "Thiis event aims to raise $3 million for the LRA to continue fulfilling its mission as the largest private funder of lupus research worldwide." The singer will be doing a 'special tribute', singing 'Joanne'. Along with Lady Gaga's performance, the event promises to be a star-studded affair with surprise celebrity guests, performances, and inspirational speakers. Selena Gomez, who has been publicly battling Lupus for years, is also slated to make an appearance. The livestream will begin at 7PM EST on Monday. Lady Gaga Lands A New Role In An Action Thriller Movie With Brad Pitt
Lady Gaga has landed a new movie role according to Collider.com. The actress is reported to appear in David Leitch's new action-thriller “Bullet Train” alongside Brad Pitt. Other stars attached to the film include Joey King, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Zazie Beetz, and Michael Shannon. The film, written by Zak Olkewicz, and based on Kotaro Isaka's Japanese novel Maria Beetle, is about a group of assassins on a fast-moving train in Tokyo. Details of Gaga’s role are under wraps, but she is said to have a smaller supporting role.

Lady Gaga Wins Double at 2020 MTV EMAs!
The 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards were held on November 8. Lady Gaga was the most nominated artist of the night, with a total of 7 nominations. The singer was nominated in the following categories: - Best Artist - Best Pop - Best US Act - Biggest Fans - Best Collaboration ("Rain on Me" w/ Ariana Grande) - Best Video ("Rain on Me" w/ Ariana Grande) - Best Song ("Rain on Me" w/ Ariana Grande) Though Gaga was not in attendance, she won 'Best US Act' and 'Best Artist'! With these wins, Lady Gaga extends her record as the most awarded artist in MTV history with 70 trophies in total. MTV also ranked their best EMA moments, with Gaga's night at the 2011 MTV EMAs in Belfast coming in at number 8. Lady Gaga to Perform at Biden Rally
Lady Gaga has officially endorsed Joe Biden as her choice for President of the United States. This comes as little to no surprise for most as she actively campaigned for Hillary Clinton back in 2016, and has spoken out on numerous occasions against President Donald Trump. Along with encouraging fans and the general public on social media to vote Biden, Lady Gaga has announced that she will be joining Joe Biden's rally in Pennsylvania tonight, November 2. Lady Gaga has been using her social media platform for good, encouraging Americans to register to vote and to cast their ballot for the upcoming United States Presidential Election. A visit to the singer's website, www.ladygaga.com, redirects you to a turbovote.org site that offers all the information and tools for a smooth voting process. The site welcomes you with a pop-up message from Lady Gaga herself, which reads: "The most important thing you can do today, and every day, until November 3rd is to get involved in this election. And one of the best ways you can do that is by joining me in signing up with TurboVote for election reminders and to get help with voter registration and voting by mail – all in one place. - Lady Gaga" Gaga also addressed her fans by using her legal name, Stefani Germanotta, to explain the ease of TurboVote and the importance of voting. She captioned the video with: "If anyone else is NERVOUS ABOUT THIS ELECTION I found this site http://turbovote.org where it’s SUPER EASY to check voter registration, make a plan on how to vote, and sign up for reminders!! The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for January 31, 2021. At the 62nd Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga was nominated for 3 Grammys, and won 2 of them (Best Song Written for Visual Media & Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media). This year, Gaga and Chromatica producer, Bloodpop, have been submitted for 12 different Grammy categories. Lady Gaga and BTWFoundation Release "Channel Kindness" Book
Lady Gaga and the Born This Way Foundation have teamed up with young people all over the world to create Channel Kindness, a book that details stories of kindness, bravery, and resilience. Channel Kindness describes the authors as a diverse group of young changemakers. The authors are contributors to Born This Way Foundation’s Channel Kindness program, which seeks to uplift youth voices by providing a storytelling platform for first-person accounts of everyday acts of bravery and kindness. The book is filled with stories from its young authors along with personal notes from Lady Gaga herself, co-founder of the Born This Way Foundation. Gaga has always used her platform to highlight the importance of mental health and kindness. The singer uses the phrase "Be Kind" to influence her audiences to practice as she preaches both to others and to oneself. So it comes to no surprise that Gaga's book release is based on spreading the message of kindness.
