Lady Gaga Appears in Tribute Segment Before Super Bowl

Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Lady Gaga stopped in New Orleans, Louisiana, to film a tribute segment that premiered before the biggest game in American football.

Gaga, accompanied by a full backing band, sang "Hold My Hand" on New Orleans' iconic Bourbon Street alongside a variety of football legends, including Michael Strahan, Tom Brady and Terry Bradshaw.

The segment acknowledges numerous tragic events that happened in the United States this year, including the New Orleans terror attack, Hurricane Helene hitting North Carolina and the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

Following the performance, “Hold My Hand” sky-rocketed on the U.S. iTunes and returned to No. 1 on the chart. The song previously hit the top spot in May of 2022 following Top Gun: Maverick’s release.

Gaga previously paid tribute to the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires at the FireAid Benefit Concert, where she closed the show with performances of "Shallow," "Always Remember Us This Way" and a specially written song, "All I Need is Time."

Additionally, Gaga joined forces with "Die With a Smile" collaborator Bruno Mars to perform a rendition of The Mamas & The Papas' "California Dreamin' " at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards

Gaga will release her seventh studio album, "Mayhem," in less than a month. To see Lady Gaga Now's complete compilation of the album's physical variants, click here
