The A Star Is Born (2018) single that earned Lady Gaga an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2019 continues its successful run with what is now Lady Gaga's second video on the platform to reach one billion views. The song also earned Lady Gaga a Golden Globe for Best Original Song, a BAFTA for Best Film Music, as well as three Grammy nominations. It won two for Best Pop Duo/Group and Best Song Written for Visual Media. Including these and many other awards, Shallow is the most awarded song of all time.
The success of the rock ballad really culminated during award season in 2019 when it won various prestigious awards, was performed live at the Grammys, and when Lady Gaga performed it live at the Oscars with Bradley Cooper for the very first time. This all followed the song hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as reaching number one in multiple countries including the UK and Australia.
