Lady Gaga has just announced GagaRadio, a new special program in partnership with Apple Music, that will air every Friday in August, at 1pm PST.
Gaga will talk about her inspirations on making Chromatica, as well as talk to the producers involved in the making of the album.
This is the description of the program:
The inspiration for Lady Gaga’s hyperactive 2020 album Chromatica came from one magical place: the dance floor. A joyride of glittery synths and let-your-hair-down hooks, it captures the singular, soul-cleansing euphoria found from sweating under a disco ball. Every Friday on GAGA RADIO, she honors dance music by speaking with the DJs, divas, and producers who inspired her and helped bring Chromatica to life. Each episode will also include an exclusive DJ mix from one of Gaga’s guests. It’s a celebration of dance music when we need it most.
You can hear two snippets of the first episode below:
According to Apple Music: Future guests will be drawn from the realm of the DJs, divas and producers who inspired her and who helped bring Chromatica’ to life. Each installment of the show will include an exclusive mix from one of that episode’s guests.
Lady Gaga also added in an announcement statement:
“The last few weeks I’ve been figuring out different ways at home that I can be of service to what I would call the singular global community, one that I believe to be kind in nature, one that I believe to be very special to my heart and I believe to the hearts of many. And so I’ve been thinking of all the ways that I can be someone that contributes to the society and the world. I’m super-thrilled (and) excited to have this show and this opportunity to play an incredible mix of music every week.”
For those without Apple Music, don't worry! We'll upload the episode on our forum right after it airs!
