In a recent Vanity Fair interview, Billie Eilish name dropped a handful of celebrities that have told her she could reach out to them if she ever needed anything, Lady Gaga being one of them. She specifically recalled Lady Gaga having a similar start as her and knowing the good and the bad parts of the industry. She said, "Gaga has said it to me before [about reaching out]. It's nice to hear from people that, like, have gone through this and know what it's like, and went through the sh*t of it and went through the amazing parts of it. It's nice to hear."
Lady G7033629847961Gaga revealed earlier this year in an interview with Apple Music that she reached out to Eilish because the younger woman's introduction to the industry mirrored her own. "I wrote her a note. For me, it’s healing because it hurt me that I didn’t get that. I’m going to be that for someone else." She continued on to say, "I really hope that young female artists – or young artists of any gender identity or sexual identity – will know that I am rooting for them."
This interview with Vanity Fair showcases that Lady Gaga continues to show her support for upcoming new artists in the business.
