Lady Gaga Partners with Mastercard and Announces "Abracadabra" Video Competition

Lady Gaga announced an "Abracadabra" music video competition in collaboration with Mastercard during the 67th Grammy Awards on February 2, 2025.

In a video posted to TikTok, Lady Gaga and "Abracadabra" music video choreographer Parris Goebel revealed a competition to give fans a chance to be part of a special fan version of the music video. Fans are encouraged to film their favorite part of the choreography and submit dance videos with the hashtag #MastercardGagaContest for a chance to be featured in a new fan version of the video.

Fifteen winners will be chosen to be part of the new music video, with full costume and glam. The winners will also be able to celebrate at Lady Gaga's "Club Mayhem" and will receive a travel package for two nights and $250 prize.

To enter, fans can share their dance video to X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, or Vimeo using the hashtag #MastercardGagaContest. Fans can then visit Priceless.com/Gaga to share the video URL when choosing to submit their entry. Videos can be maximum of one minute long and group videos can include up to three dancers total; if all members of the group do not submit, the entry will be disqualified. The competition is for U.S. and Canada only. Visit here for full official rules.

The partnership was first revealed on the Mastercard websitewhere the webpage says "Mastercard is partnering with Lady Gaga, opening the door so fans can get closer than ever to Gaga herself." Earlier in the evening, Lady Gaga and Mastercard premiered the "Abracadabra" music video during a commercial break for the Grammys.

Are there any plans to expand the #MastercardGagaContest beyond the U.S. and Canada in the future, or to include additional creative slope game elements beyond dance choreography, such as fan-made costumes or remixes, in subsequent competitions?
