Joker: Folie à Deux,” starring Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix as the titular character, will have its world premiere at the 81st annual Venice International Film Festival, held from August 28 to September 7, 2024, at Venice Lido, Italy.

During the presentation, it was revealed that the official runtime of the movie is 2 hours and 18 minutes.

The anticipated Joker sequel will follow the festival path of the first movie, which was awarded the Golden Lion, the festival's highest prize, to director Todd Phillips in 2019. This will be Gaga's second appearance at the iconic Mostra, after the premiere of "A Star Is Born" in 2018, when she and Bradley Cooper received an eight-minute ovation and successfully launched an awards campaign that resulted in Gaga's first Oscar.

After the world premiere in Venice, “Joker: Folie à Deux” will hit theaters around the globe this October.
