“Joker: Folie à Deux” to Begin Filming in December

It has been recently reported that filming for the Joker sequel, Folie à Deux will begin in New York City this December.

The musical will see Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as the Joker.

The premise is said to be, “…an Arkham Asylum shrink (Harley Quinn), who falls in love with her patient, Arthur Fleck.”

Production Weekly also lists legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese as a producer on the film. 

Variety also revealed that  Lady Gaga will be paid $10 million for her role and the movie will have a budget of roughly $150 million.
