Marking her first-ever appearance at the ceremony, Lady Gaga shone at this year's BAFTA Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK. Gaga was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Patrizia Reggiani in Ridley Scott's House of Gucci. The film also scored nominations for Best Makeup and Hair and Best British Film.
In what was naturally the most memorable fashion moment of the evening, Gaga graced the red carpet in a Ralph Lauren gown. During the ceremony, she presented the Rising Star segment to Lashana Lynch, welcoming last year's winner Bukky Bakray to the stage and "highlighting the importance of supporting the next generation of talent.”
Gaga is a previous BAFTA winner, taking the prize for Best Original Music in 2019 for A Star is Born. She had been unable to attend due to prior commitments at the GRAMMY Awards, held the same day.
