The highly anticipated farewell concert special One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, had its premiere on CBS Sunday night. The duo performed their classics, including "Love For Sale," "Anything Goes," and "The Lady is a Tramp."
One Last Time follows the release of Tony and Gaga’s final collaborative jazz album Love For Sale, nominated for 6 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. The CBS special offered a glimpse into Tony’s farewell concert with Gaga, which took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York this past summer.
Lady Gaga opened the show with her rendition of "Luck Be A Lady," followed by "Orange Colored Sky," the latter of which was the song Tony Bennett first watched her perform. He asked her to record their duets album "Cheek To Cheek" that very night. She then continued with "Let's Do It," which is also featured on the duo's latest album, "Love For Sale."
Gaga then welcomed Tony to the stage with "New York, New York," during which she said, "He’s my friend, he’s my musical companion, he’s the greatest singer in the whole world...So you better cheer, you better yell, you better laugh, you better cry, you better give your soul because it’s up to you."
Tony then continued the set with "Watch What Happens," "Steppin' Out With My Baby," and "Fly Me To The Moon." Gaga returned to the stage to perform some of their classic duets such as, "The Lady is a Tramp," "Love For Sale," and "Anything Goes." Mr. Bennett closed out the show with his most famous hit, "I Left My Heart In San Francisco." Gaga then escorted him off stage one final time.
The duo are also set to appear on MTV Unplugged on December 16th at 9PM EST. One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga is now available to stream on Paramount+.
