Lady Gaga got nominated for another Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for her role in House of Gucci.
Lady Gaga already won two Golden Globes, her first one was back in 2016, when she won her very first acting award for portraying Countess Elizabeth in American Horror Story: Hotel, and her second was for Shallow in 2019. She was already nominated for Best Actress in a musical/comedy movie for A Star Is Born, and this is her second film nomination.
The Golden Globe Awards, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), faced criticism over their lack of member diversity. The HFPA announced plans for a reform, however many industry members and studios opted to boycott the upcoming ceremony. NBC also announced that it would not televise the 2022 ceremony, but the HFPA is still planning to hold the 79th Golden Globe Awards anyway on January 9, 2022, the same day the Critics Choice Movie Awards ceremony will take place on NBC.
So far, it is unknown how and where will the Golden Globe Awards ceremony take place nor if Lady Gaga will attend.
