Lady Gaga Shares Story About A Family Member Recently Hospitalized During The Pandemic

Lady Gaga revealed recently, in an interview with People Magazine, that one of her family members was hospitalized for two months during the recent COVID-19 pandemic.

The singer also talked about her admiration for the healthcare professionals that have been risking their lives in order to take care of patients in hospitals.

Here's a preview from the interview:

"I got to be honest. I'm about to cry on the other end of this call with you because it's really — it's doctors, it's nurses, it's essential workers," she says. "I haven't spoken to this person about speaking about this publicly, but I will tell you that a very important member of my family was very, very ill recently and in the hospital for almost two months. I was in the ICU by myself many times because you can't go in with more than one person, if you can go in at all. I have never seen the heroic acts of bravery that I witnessed, watching these doctors and nurses and people that were cleaning at the hospitals."

    [...]

"They put their heart and soul into their work, and they even cared for me, who — I assure you, nobody could even recognize me behind all the gear that I had on. They just said, 'How are you doing? How is your family? Is everything okay? Can we do anything?'" Gaga says.

Omg this was so sad to read. It explains so many things. I hope those kids on Twitter that drag her for not being active will read this. It must've been so hard for her. I really hope her family is fine and healthy... I can't imagine how bad she must've felt. Also when she says "They put their heart and soul into their work, and they even cared for me, who — I assure you, nobody could even recognize me behind all the gear that I had on. They just said, 'How are you doing? How is your family? Is everything okay? Can we do anything?'". Says so much about her and her life. She's a beautiful soul.

This is so sad. I will keep her family in my prayers. I had a feeling in my gut that something was wrong. Her being silent was proof of that. I really hope and pray her family member was able to recover. I hope Gaga’s okay too. God bless her and her family. Sending them all love. 💔

Same, I really hope she's okay before anything else. Gaga is such an example of resilience and kindness for sure and sometimes I think many of us don't see that. I'm glad to meet kind and loving monsters who truly care of her as a person.

No wonder how she was so silent this year,  that family member very ill and Tony having alzheimer,  the pandemic and her art in stand by and that's only the things we know.. she's been trough a lot,  again.. and she found the strength anyway to fight for the world. I really admire her.

I feel for her and her family . I hope everything is gonna be fine soon for everyone 😔❤  I hope shes okay..
