Lady Gaga's "MAYHEM" took home the iHeartRadio Music Award for Dance Album of the Year at the station's annual ceremony.

Gaga was nominated for five other awards, including Artist of the Year and the socially voted categories Best Music Video and Favorite TikTok Dance (for "Abracadabra"), Favorite On Screen for her appearance in the second season of "Wednesday" and Favorite Tour Style for the MAYHEM Ball.

At last year's ceremony, Gaga was honored with the iHeartRadio Innovator Award, which is presented to artists for their contribution to popular culture. She now has a total of five iHeartRadio awards.

Last month, Gaga scored two wins at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, one for Best Dance Pop Recording ("Abracadabra") and another for Best Pop Vocal Album ("MAYHEM").

Pokémon has just released its latest commercial featuring Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah, Jisoo, Charles Leclerc, Lamine Yamal, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Young Miko during tonight’s Super Bowl halftime.

In the commercial, Gaga is seen in the studio accompanied by her loyal Jigglypuff, a Pokémon worldwide known for its soothing singing.

Lady Gaga was also featured in a second commercial made for the Super Bowl by Rocket, where she reimagined the classic “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”.

She also surprised the world by appearing during tonight’s Super Bowl halftime show, singing “Die With a Smile” alongside the main performer, Bad Bunny.

Exactly one week after running into each other at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime performance.

Gaga looked beautiful as she performed a special mariachi version of "Die With a Smile." It was the first time a performance of the song was televised.

Rumors swirled of Gaga's appearance alongside Bad Bunny in the week prior to the Super Bowl, but nothing was confirmed until she stepped on the stage at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The artists have expressed mutual admiration for one another in the past years, with Gaga even making a special appearance on "Saturday Night Live" in 2023 to introduce one of Bad Bunny's performances.

Gaga last performed at the Super Bowl nine years ago, when she performed a string of her greatest hits including "Poker Face," "Born This Way" and more. Last year, she filmed a special tribute segment in which she performed "Hold My Hand" on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, that aired before Super Bowl LIX. She'd later win an Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction at the 46th Annual Sports Emmy Awards for the segment.

During this year's Super Bowl, Gaga starred in two commercials: She reimagined Mr. Rogers' "Won't You Be My Neighbor" in an ad for Rocket, and she appeared alongside the iconic Jigglypuff in a commercial for Pokémon's 30th anniversary.

It was another successful showing for Lady Gaga at the Grammy Awards, as she scored two wins and gave a rocking performance of "Abracadabra" at the 68th iteration of the award show.

She entered the ceremony with seven nominations, the most of any woman this year. She is now tied with Adele as the sixth most-awarded woman in the award show's history.

The "MAYHEM" era had already received a Grammy accolade prior to this year's ceremony, as Gaga's duet with Bruno Mars, "Die With a Smile," won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance last year.

Additionally, Gesaffelstein received the Best Remixed Recording award for his remix of "Abracadabra." Cirkut, credited as a producer on "Abracadabra" and "Disease," won Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.

CBS has officially announced Lady Gaga as a performer at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.

Lady Gaga will take the stage on February 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+, as well as on our Discord server.

With seven nominations, Lady Gaga is the most nominated woman at this year’s ceremony.

Lady Gaga spoke about the tense situation in America during her concert in Tokyo last night.

Gaga gave a very heartfelt speech about the ongoing critical situation involving riots in America against immigration police (ICE), who recently killed two protesters. The most recent victim, Alex Pretti, was fatally shot multiple times just last week in Minneapolis.

"I wanna take a second to talk about something that it's extremely important to me, something important to people all over the world, and especially in America right now. In a couple of days I'm gonna be heading home and, my heart is aching thinking about the people, the children, the families all over America who are being merciless targeted by ICE. I'm thinking about all of their pain and how their lives are being destroyed right in front of us. I'm also thinking about Minnesota, and everyone back at home, who is living in so much fear... and searching for answers of what we all should do. When entire communities, loose their sense of safety and belonging, it breaks something in all of us. I hope that you'll all stand with us tonight. I know we are not in America right now, but we are with our community, and we love you. I'd like to dedicate this song to everyone who is suffering, to everyone who is feeling alone and helpless, anyone who's lost their loved one. And is having a difficult time, an impossible time, seeing when end will be near. We need to get back to a place of safety and peace and accountability. Good people shouldn't fight so hard and risk their life for well being and respect. And I hope, our leaders are listening, I hope you are listening to us, asking you to change the course of action swiftly, and have mercy on everyone in our country. And in a time where it doesn't feel like it's easy to have hope, it is my community and my friends, my family that hold me up. Lady Gaga is currently in Japan, wrapping up the final dates of her Asian tour. She will then return to the United States to begin the second American leg of her MAYHEM Ball Tour in Arizona on February 14.

Rocket has unveiled a new commercial starring Lady Gaga that will air during this year’s Super Bowl.

The three-minute spot features Lady Gaga reinterpreting Mr. Rogers’ classic song “Won’t You Be My Neighbor,” delivering a message of hope and kindness that feels especially timely. The full commercial can be viewed below.

Super Bowl LX is scheduled for February 9 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Bad Bunny is set to headline the halftime show.

After her momentous 2025, Lady Gaga scored two nominations at the 46th Annual BRIT Awards, her first nods in more than a decade.

Gaga is up for the Britannia in the categories International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year, for her Bruno Mars collaboration "Die With a Smile."

These are only her sixth and seventh nominations at the ceremony, her most recent being for International Artist of the Year in 2014. All three awards she has won are from 2010: International Breakthrough Act, International Female Solo Artist and International Album for "The Fame."

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026.

Lady Gaga is set to perform a special, one-night-only concert at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

These five nominations come only a year after receiving the Innovator Award at the 2025 IHeartRadio Music Awards, where she became the ninth artist to received the honour given for considerate innovation and artistry.

Lady Gaga's new concert special 'LADY GAGA IN HARLEQUIN LIVE: ONE NIGHT ONLY' is now premiering exclusively on YouTube.

Fans on Lady Gaga's email list were able to stream the special an hour early on Christmas Eve: "This holiday season I wanted to share something with you from my heart to thank you for supporting me this year and being a part of our wonderful community."

The film held its world premiere at the GRAMMY Museum on December 18.

After last week's in-theater premiere of "Harlequin Live: One Night Only" at Los Angeles' Grammy Museum, Lady Gaga is releasing the special performance special this Christmas Eve.

Ahead of its release, she sat down with Variety's Chris Willman to talk about the new film, which she calls "a Christmas present."

"I'm feeling like: Why not?" Gaga told Willman, regarding the release date of the special filmed last September. "We have this thing that's sop special to us, so we're just really happy to share it with the fans. It's kind of a rebellious project. And, by Harlequin standards, Christmas is the perfect time to release something rebellious."

Gaga revealed she meant to only perform three songs as a "celebration after the premiere of 'Joker,'" but she and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, decided to do the whole album just a few days before. She tapped Marcell Rév, the director of photography for the "Disease" music video to help with production design:

"And once everything came together with the production design, it really came together because of the album art that we shot in Las Vegas while we were there finishing the record, where it was all shot in this dingy apartment. And when I met the guys that I made the record with, some of them 20 years ago, I was living in a dingy apartment on the Lower East Side. That's where I had all my crazy ideas about anything. So that's how the emotional and raw quality of how we made it made its way into this performance," she said.

She continued to give props to Michael. She said she loves "that he has this closeness with me where he sees my artistry and my musicianship in its infancy, in its raw form."

Despite the mere few-day window between the decision to perform "Harlequin" in full and the taping date, Gaga said she never felt unprepared or unrehearsed. "The point of the whole thing was to capture it in its rawness with all of the fabric of emotional jazz music. So, no, we didn't prepare that much. But in a way, I had been preparing for this for years."

She discussed "Happy Mistake," one of two original songs on the project. She said the song was inspired by a time in her life when "it felt like being happy would be an accident, it felt so impossible." She continued, saying the gift for herself in doing the performance made her "so happy."

Aside from "Harlequin Live," Gaga also discussed the album's nomination for Best Traditional Pop Album, her first time being nominated for the award on her own. Previously, she won the award twice with Tony Bennett, for both "Cheek to Cheek" and "Love for Sale": "I'm not in the category alone, I don't feel, because I guess I'll always feel like Tony is with me in the category," she said.

Variety confirmed that Bennett does have a small cameo in "Harlequin Live," in a way. During her performance of "Smile," a black-and-white TV plays a repairing loop of Bennett, who loved the original version of the song by Charlie Chaplin. Gaga said it wasn't meant to be a memorial, but a moment to bring "a little bit of the real world, with a little bit of a wink" to the performance.

Plus, after first confirming to Zane Lowe her work on new music in various hotel rooms across the world, Gaga further detailed the process. She and Michael set up a piano and a mic in every room, and whenever it feels like a good time to make music, "we just do it." "I take care of myself as much as I can on the road, and I'm finding that that's leading to a lot of songwriting, which is the best," she said.

Lady Gaga has announced the debut of “Lady Gaga in Harlequin Live”, premiering worldwide on her YouTube channel on Christmas Eve (December 24).

The special was directed by the artist and her partner Michael Polansky at The Bolasco in Los Angeles in October 2024 alongside of the release of Joker: Folie A Deux.

The exclusive concert film aired for a one-time-only cinematic screening in Los Angeles on December 17, where fans were able to see the artist perform classic covers such as “That’s Entertainment” (Judy Garland) and her original piece “Happy Mistake”.

The project will premiere live on YouTube at 4PM PST/7PM EST.

Lady Gaga attended a special screening and held a discussion for her new film 'LADY GAGA IN HARLEQUIN LIVE – ONE NIGHT ONLY' at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles on December 18.

The screening marks the world premiere of the long-awaited 'Harlequin' secret recording, which filmed last year at The Belasco. The album is nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards.

During a question-and-answer segment, Lady Gaga revealed that she set up recording studios in hotel rooms while on tour this year. Although no official release date was confirmed, the film was teased as a "Christmas gift" for fans.

On the MAYHEM Ball:

While she denied rumors about continuing the MAYHEM Ball past April 2026, Gaga said she's had the most amazing time reconnecting with fans every night of the tour.

She noted that while it's a choreographed show, there's "a ton of room" for her to tell the story differently every night.

On the possibility of new music:

Gaga confirmed she was in the studio this week and has "been making a lot of music." "It's kind of the best making music when you get to see your fans every night, because you're energetically just right where you need to be," she said.

When asked about releasing new music next year, Gaga said, "It really depends on how I keep going with writing, but it's not out of the question."

The Weeknd came up after he posted a no-context image of Gaga earlier this week, sparking collaboration rumors. Gaga did not confirm or deny the rumors and said, "I love Abel! That's all I can say."

On the reception to "MAYHEM":

Gaga noted how cool it is to see "MAYHEM" connect with audiences. She said that while some of her records have resonated with her fanbase and others have resonated more with the general public, it's a "special feeling" to make a record that connects with both at the same time.

On the Grammy Awards:

With next year's 68th Annual Grammy Awards, Gaga nabbed the most nominations at one ceremony in her career, for both "MAYHEM" and "Harlequin." She said she feels grateful for all the different genres and "pockets" of music she gets to play in because it's like "jumping into different galaxies, and you can really get lost somewhere else completely."

On artificial intelligence in music:

When Lowe mentioned his dislike for the increasing development of artificial intelligence in pop music, Gaga echoed his sentiment: "Being a human being I don't think is going to go out of style anytime soon. I certainly hope it's not. That's at the core of, I think, the way we understand each other, the way we communicate."

1. Bruce Springsteen – "Thunder Road"

"Springsteen has influenced me my whole career. My album 'Born This Way' was heavily influenced by Bruce Springsteen. Bruce had a very particular grit and soulfulness, and when I was making 'Born This Way' I thought a lot about how to incorporate who I really am into my music, even more than I did during 'The Fame'. 'The Fame' was an album that was more about my dream for myself; 'Born This Way' was more of an album that was looking back on a particular time in my life. I think I fell in love with New York all over again through Bruce's music because of the proximity to New Jersey and that whole area. […] I remember feeling like I was learning about my dad through the song because my dad is from New Jersey, and Bruce is from Jersey."

2. Beck – "Nicotine & Gravy"

"For me, 'Nicotine & Gravy' really spoke to who I was as a 19 year-old living on the Lower East Side and kind of getting my kicks with the locals. I looked back on it, going like, 'Oh [Beck] changed'. I would say the way it affected my life the most is that watching Beck change made me feel like I wanted to change."

3. Carl Bean – "I Was Born This Way"

"I was so inspired by that song. I heard and I was like, 'I wonder if there's a way to flip this into a modern pop record'. […] It's so meaningful to me too because the entire energy around 'Born This Way', my song, entirely depended on that song. The genesis of it gave way to something that I think for me is the most important record of my whole career, not just for me artistically but for what it means. And every night that I play it, I think about Carl Bean and I think about 'I Was Born This Way'."

4. Iron Butterfly – "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"

"I had been writing songs that were kind of fantasy with nonsensical words in it, and my mom was like, 'You have to hear this song'. I think they were really drunk in the studio and trying to sing "in the garden of eden" and then it came out as "in-a-gadda-da-vida", and then they kept it that way. So I always thought it was really cool and I know it stuck in the back of my mind that you could make a hit record with words you make up. That definitely stayed with me with through all my music, and made a comeback for 'Abracadabra'."

5. David Bowie – "Watch That Man"

"I had this conundrum as a young person, where I was a little too, or not enough, something. [Lady Starlight] said to me, 'You know, David Bowie was very theatrical. And he's David Bowie'. I started to try to understand him as an artist and delve into his music. […] I had such a dream of making something of myself, that it became kind of this pump-up song for me. My love of David Bowie just deepened from there, but I would say that this was one of the first songs."

6. Heavy Metal Kids – "Hey Little Girl"

"When you find records that help you understand or see yourself, or they become the soundtrack to you and your friend group, that's pretty powerful. There was this idea that you could be kind of rough around the edges and still glamorous, and at the time that meant a lot to me because I didn't have much to offer other than the music I was making and all the jobs I was working."

7. Stevie Wonder – "Superstition"

"Particularly from 'Superstition', that bass line is one of the most exciting bass lines I had ever heard in my whole life. I started thinking about music differently. Listening to Stevie Wonder helped me think about how I could compose differently. It's like that kind of music you have to let seep into your bones and your soul until it finds its way into something true and authentic to you. I definitely I had my moments on 'MAYHEM' where I was thinking about him."

8. Carole King – "Tapestry"

"When I was really bullied in high school, I listened to Carole King's music and I always felt her voice and her songs are like a warm hug. And I think because I played piano and I wrote songs that I saw a path for myself and I just really looked up to her. […] I would say another thing that Carole King taught me was it can be good to think about another artist when you're writing; imagining a super-star singing the song. Because I'll go, 'Is this good enough for someone else?' What might be good enough for me may not be good enough for someone else."

9. Dinah Washington – "What a Diff'rence a Day Made"

"I sang it a lot in my jazz shows, but I didn't sing it on tour with Tony Bennett. I kind of discovered it later. I think I found a bit of myself as a solo jazz singer, without Tony, with that song, just personally. […] I would say 'What a Diff'rence a Day Made' was extremely important to me because it was Dinah's charts that I sang when I first did it, and it was kind of, what was my voice without Tony, when I was just starting to do that."

10. Miles Davis – "So What"

"This is another great segue into how I learned as a young artist that it's about how you think about music, and everybody can think about music differently. It was the way Miles thought about music that I was really moved by as a young person. His album 'Kind of Blue' was critical, and this was long before I ever met Tony, and it was much earlier in my life."

11. The Rolling Stones – "Sympathy for the Devil"

"To me, 'Sympathy for the Devil' had a speed of rock-and-roll that I hadn't heard before. When I say different speed of rock-and-roll, it was also so different from Led Zeppelin and 'Whole Lotta Love'. 'Thank You' was a softer record, but it didn't have this same kind of coolness that 'Sympathy for the Devil' has; 'Thank You' was more like a sincere love song. Pink Floyd were more hallucinogenic in their music. 'Money' was one of the first records I remember listening to. My dad put it on and I said, 'Dad, is that cash register?' And he said yes, and I was like, 'But why? It's music'."

12. Led Zeppelin – "Thank You"

"I love 'Thank You' by Led Zeppelin because they have this razor-sharp, loud, just kind of epic music. And then 'Thank You' is just like quieter. And it's pretty. And it's so sincere. It was kind of like learning the unobtainable rock-and-roll God could really love you. There was like a human-being underneath the legend of it all. The idea of drama and theatricality in music, and then sincerity, I think those two things kind of yin-yang for me."

13. She Wants Revenge – "Tear You Apart"

"'Tear You Apart' by She Wants Revenge is a song that I just fell in love with when I was like 18 years-old. At that same time, I was really into The Cure. This kind of more electronic thing was starting to percolate for me. I think something about living on Stanton Street and the clubs I was going to. What's funny is that the clubs I was going to, a lot of them were playing metal records, but I would listen to She Wants Revenge and The Cure and Depeche Mode when I was at home. That was kind of my internal soundtrack to what the DJs were playing."

14. The Cure – "Never Enough"

"My favorite The Cure song was 'Never Enough' and I am obsessed with the production on that song. I love the song also, but the production on it is something else. I also think I related it to that time in my life I couldn't stop partying. I mean I was writing songs then partying, like on a loop. So I think that song was kind of like the soundtrack to my routine."

15. Justice – "Stress"

"I put 'Stress' by Justice on here too because French-electronic music was something I discovered more when I moved to California. […] I put that record on here because I can't even actually think of a time in my career that I didn't think about Justice when I was making music. It had to do with that unique specialness; that thing that only they had."

“Historic” does not even begin to describe Lady Gaga’s 2025. She scored a No. 1 song and album, won a Grammy and Emmy Award and embarked on a massive world tour, among many other accomplishments.

JANUARY

Gaga started the year strong in receiving her sixth No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. Her Bruno Mars collaboration “Die With a Smile” hit the top of the chart after 20 weeks of charting, making Gaga one of the few artists with a No. 1 song in three different decades. 

Speaking of Mars, she made an appearance in the music video for his song “Fat, Juicy & Wet” alongside Sexyy Red and Rosé. 

Later in the month, she announced her seventh studio album “MAYHEM” on Jan. 21. To accompany the announcement, she appeared on the cover of ELLE US and UK.

She wrapped the month by giving the closing performance of the FireAid Benefit Concert, an event dedicated to rebuilding communities affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. She performed “Shallow,” “Always Remember Us This Way” and a special song written just for this event, “All I Need is Time.” 

FEBRUARY

February was a mayhem-filled month. The “MAYHEM” era racked up a Grammy Award before the album’s release when “Die With a Smile” won Gaga and Mars the Best Pop Duo/Group Award. The duo took the stage to perform a cover of The Mamas & The Papas’ “California Dreamin’” in a tribute to those affected by the Los Angeles fires.

Plus, Gaga revealed “Abracadabra” and its music video during a commercial break from the ceremony and announced a music video competition in conjunction with Mastercard.

A week later, Gaga announced the MAYHEM Ball Tour, her first since the Chromatica Ball in 2022. 

In terms of televised and live performances, Gaga first went to New Orleans for a tribute performance of “Hold My Hand” ahead of Super Bowl LIX.

The next week, she made an appearance at “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” with a performance of “Shallow” that turned into a medley of the Lonely Island’s “Dick in a Box” and “Motherlover.” 

In other news, “Die With a Smile” broke a record when it became the longest-running No. 1 on the Global Spotify chart. 

She also made an appearance on Hot Ones and took a lie detector test for Vanity Fair. 

MARCH

“MAYHEM” was released to critical acclaim on March 7, 2025. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Albums Chart, her sixth time topping the chart. 

Gaga did an expansive press tour for the album, chatting with Billboard, Good Morning America, Las Culturistas, the New York Times, Rolling Stone, Vogue, W Magazine and Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, among many others. She dropped by the Howard Stern Show for an interview and performances of “Abracadabra” and “Perfect Celebrity” and hosted “GAGA Radio,” a pop-up show on SiriusXM. 

Plus, she hosted the Little Monsters Press Conference with Spotify, allowing fans the opportunity to ask her anything.

She brought “MAYHEM” to “Saturday Night Live” in her second double-duty appearance on the sketch comedy show. She performed “Abracadabra” and debuted the live performance of “Killah.” 

Later, on March 17, she received the iHeart Radio Innovator Award for her contributions to pop culture. She also won the iHeart Radio Award for Best Collaboration for “Die With a Smile.” 

She ended the month by releasing the “Abracadabra: From Fan to Featured” video with Mastercard.

APRIL

Gaga brought “MAYHEM” to the desert when she headlined both weekends of Coachella. It was her second time receiving top-billing at the festival, having first done so in 2017. After the festival, she dropped the Gesaffelstein remix of “Abracadabra,” which was included in her Coachella setlist.

At the end of the month, she returned to Mexico City for the first time in 10 years for the first stadium show of the “MAYHEM” era. 

MAY

May was another historic month for Gaga as her concert on Copacabana Beach in Brazil became the most-attended concert of a female artist of all time. An estimated 2.1 million fans gathered for the history-making performance. 

She collected the “E” in “EGOT” when her Super Bowl LIX performance was awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Music Direction at the 46th Sports Emmy Awards. Now, all she needs is a Tony Award to complete the prestigious accomplishment. 

She won three of her six nominations at the 2025 American Music Awards: Collaboration of the Year and Favorite Music Video for “Die With a Smile,” and Favorite Dance/Electronic Artist.

Ahead of her special guest appearance on the second season of Netflix’s “Wednesday,” she closed the streaming service’s annual “TUDUM” live event with an epic performance medley of “Zombieboy,” a “Bloody Mary” dance intermission and “Abracadabra.”

Plus, she appeared and performed at the 2025 YouTube Brandcast event. While it was not broadcast publicly, Deadline called Gaga’s showing a highlight of the ceremony. 

JUNE

June was relatively tame for Gaga, with the exception of “Abracadabra: From Fan to Featured” winning two Lions at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity: the Gold Lion for Fan Building/Community Engagement and the Bronze Lion for Social & Creator. 

The fan video also received four honors at the New York Festivals Advertising Awards: the grand and gold honors for Branded Content/Engagement, another gold honor for Collaborations & Partnerships and a silver honor for Activation & Engagement. 

Oh, and “Die With a Smile” joined the Fortnite Festival.

JULY

July marked the official start of the MAYHEM Ball, with Gaga kicking off the sprawling world tour in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

AUGUST

Gaga joined Dress to Impress to hold a virtual meet-and-greet with fans and host an in-game fashion contest.

Plus, she confirmed the existence of “The Dead Dance,” a song included in the second season of “Wednesday,” at an event for the show.

SEPTEMBER

“The Dead Dance” was released, as well as its Tim Burton-directed music video, to coincide with Gaga’s appearance on “Wednesday.” She played Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday. 

She also released an expanded version of “MAYHEM” with “The Dead Dance” and two songs previously exclusive to some physical album copies, “Can’t Stop the High” and “Kill for Love.”

She scored four Video Music Awards: Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration for “Die With a Smile,” and Best Direction and Best Art Direction for “Abracadabra.” She appeared at the ceremony to accept the Artist of the Year award, but she recorded a performance of “Abracadabra” and “The Dead Dance” for the show from her concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden. She is now the third-most awarded artist in VMAs history. 

She dropped by the Late Show with Stephen Colbert for a piano rendition of “Vanish Into You,” the song’s first televised performance. Her interview with Colbert wouldn’t be released until the start of October.

As she continued touring, she expanded the MAYHEM Ball into 2026 with the announcement of 20 more North American shows. 

OCTOBER

It’s fitting Gaga’s next film role will be in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” as she was seen filming in Milan, Italy between MAYHEM Ball shows. Not much else is known of her involvement in the film slated for a 2026 release other than a Vogue Italia article that said she is expected to play herself. 

She gave an exclusive interview and performances of “Abracadabra” and “Vanish Into You” for KCRW. 

NOVEMBER

The month started with Gaga earning seven nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards:

• Album of the Year (“MAYHEM”)

• Record of the Year (“Abracadabra”)

• Song of the Year (“Abracadabra”)

• Best Pop Vocal Album (“MAYHEM”)

• Best Dance Pop Recording (“Abracadabra”)

She now has 45 total career Grammy nominations and became the first artist to have her work nominated across the entire Pop and Dance/Electronic fields. 

A week later, she graced the cover of Rolling Stone for the fourth time, her first since 2011. 

She also attended YouTube’s MAYHEM Halloween Party and did ASMR with "Wednesday" co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones.

DECEMBER

After more than a year, "Lady Gaga in Harlequin Live: One Night Only," the concert special recorded on October 1, 2024 in Los Angeles, was released. It first premiered as a one-night-only cinematic event on December 18 in Los Angeles, but it was made available for free on YouTube on Christmas Eve (December 24).

On Billboard’s 2025 year-end charts, Gaga earned her first year-end Hot 100 No. 1 single with “Die With a Smile.” She also placed as the No. 1 Dance/Electronic Artist for the sixth year and claimed the No. 1 song on the Top Dance/Pop songs with “Abracadabra.”

"MAYHEM" received year-end acclaim for critics. It was named the No. 2 album of the year by Billboard and No. 3 by Billboard and Business Insider, but many other publications included it on their year-end lists.

"Abracadabra" also fared well on many year-end best-of lists, with Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone recognizing it as the best song of the year. Associated Press, BBC, Billboard, Consequence, The Guardian, USA Today and Stereogum ranked it in their Top 10s.

Spotify celebrated Gaga’s incredible year with a “paws up” statue on Copacabana Beach, where she performed her history-making show in May.

Spotify has unveiled a “paws up” statue on Copacabana Beach in Brazil to celebrate Lady Gaga’s remarkable year on the charts.



Early this morning, Brazilian fans discovered a new statue on their favorite beach. Spotify installed the “paws up” tribute to celebrate Lady Gaga’s achievements this year, which include her hit album MAYHEM, worldwide singles like “Die With a Smile,” “Abracadabra,” and “The Dead Dance,” one of the highest-grossing tours of her career that is still running, a Coachella performance, and her unforgettable record breaking show on Copacabana Beach.

In May, Lady Gaga set the record for the most attended concert by a female artist in history with an audience of 2.5 million fans at her Copacabana show. For one unforgettable night, fans from around the world filled the beach to welcome her back after 12 years away from the country. The free concert was widely praised by global media and left a lasting mark on the nation, becoming a cultural phenomenon known for its imagery, staging, and iconic outfits.

It is not yet known how long the statue will remain on display, but fans in Brazil can enjoy it while it lasts and can also scan a QR code that features a special message from Lady Gaga herself.

Spotify also revealed that Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’s “Die With a Smile” was the platform’s top global song of 2025 with 1.7 billion streams, confirming its position as the number one song of all time on the United World Chart. Meanwhile, Gaga’s “Abracadabra” was the most streamed solo female track of the year on Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer.

Lady Gaga is currently touring Australia with her MAYHEM Ball tour, which will continue in Japan before returning to the United States for a second leg next year.

Lady Gaga returned to chat with Stephen Colbert and take part in the “Colbert Questionert”, a segment where Stephen asks guests a series of personal questions.

Lady Gaga last appeared on the show earlier this fall to perform an acoustic version of "Vanish Into You" and discuss her latest album, MAYHEM.

A week after she scored seven nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga graced the cover of Rolling Stone's December magazine to talk about "MAYHEM," finding love and touring.

This marks Gaga's fourth time on the cover of the magazine and her first since 2011.

On mental health

Gaga opened up about the mental health struggles she faced after the release of "ARTPOP" in 2013. She said "ARTPOP" altered the trajectory of her career because it "was the first time that [she] ever had major criticism about a piece of work" she made.

From there, she discussed how her mental health problems continued through the next decade. She said she did "A Star is Born" on lithium, a powerful mood stabilizer, and had a psychotic break after filming on the Joanne World Tour: "I needed to take a break. I couldn't do anything ... I completely crashed. It was really scary. There was a time where I didn't think I could get better. ... I feel really lucky to be alive."

She continued to say she doesn't think she "was doing very well" during the filming of "House of Gucci," and spoke about how "Chromatica" is "very literal" because it's all she had: "I didn't have a lot of the same type of poetry inside of me because I sort of lost it."

This concept is explored in the "Disease" music video, which she said "is so deliberately about somebody that wants to harm you – and it being you." After filming it, she said she went into a dark place that revealed to her that she was not done healing.

Thankfully, she now considers herself "a healthy, whole person," thanks in part to "MAYHEM": "One of the things I'm most grateful for is gaining all my artistic faculties back to make this record. I had to dig very, very deep, and I had to change a lot of my life and recenter around what I needed as a human being."

On being in love

Another factor in getting her back on track is her relationship with Michael Polansky, about whom she said, "Being in love with someone that cares about the real me made a very big difference."

It's Polansky who told her she needed to reclaim her music, and in the process, she asked him for his input. Polansky is credited as a co-writer on six "MAYHEM" songs, which surprised him because his contributions were not intentional. "It was very touching to me that she wanted to acknowledge me," he said.

Andrew Watt, a close collaborator through the "MAYHEM" sessions credited Polansky with being a crucial stabilizer in the recording process and said he has "that all-knowing Buddha-type energy."

In turns out she secretly had another business venture with Polansky as she co-founded and sits on the board of directors of Outer Biosciences, a skin-health research firm that Polansky said "was her idea." "When she talks about us being partners, it kind of looks like it all goes one direction, but she's the most incredible support to me as well," he said.

They plan to get married soon, and Gaga added that "being a mom is the thing [she wants] the most."

On the MAYHEM Ball

The narrative of MAYHEM Ball, Gaga's largest and longest tour in a decade, is a dream-logic version of parts of her real life. She broke it down and said the show starts with Mayhem, "the most egocentric side" of her, that announces she's the queen with a desire of torturing the younger version of herself "as a way of teaching her how to be great." The Mayhem character's plan doesn't go as planned, though.

"I decided I wanted to make it something that everybody could understand and love," she said, "and it didn't have to be the most dark thing that I'd ever created. Isn't that Mayhem talking? 'I have to be dark.' And, like, what is that in me that I have to be the toughest or the most edgy?"

While she still panics at the start of every show, but "the rehearsal of self" saves her and puts her back in the moment.

Lady Gaga has officially received multiple nominations at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, highlighting the continued artistic impact of her most recent era. This year’s nominations span several major categories across pop, dance, traditional, and vocal performance, reflecting Gaga’s wide-ranging creative presence in contemporary music.

Note: Abracadabra (Gesaffelstein Remix) is also nominated for Best Remixed Recording, but the award only goes to the remixer (Gesaffelstein).

The 2026 Grammy Awards will take place on February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and will also be available to stream globally via Paramount+.

Lady Gaga and the cast of Netflix’s “Wednesday” season two fully embody the Halloween spirit as two new promotional videos were released in honor of the holiday. 

One is the long-awaited ASMR video with Gaga and co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia Adams. 

The other video features Gaga doing “The Dead Dance” with Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair) and Evie Templeton (Agnes DeMille). 

In September, Myers and Templeton joined Gaga on stage at a MAYHEM Ball show at London’s O2 Arena during “LoveDrug.”

On Nov. 1, “The Dead Dance” became the seventh song from “MAYHEM” to reach 100 million streams on Spotify. 

Lady Gaga attended a special Halloween event in Barcelona hosted by YouTube on Friday, October 31, called MAYHEM Halloween.

The artist, dressed as the “Garden of Eden”, carried a shovel and wore a gown by Matieres Fecales styled by Hunter Clemens. She later claimed on Instagram,

“I’m the Garden of Eden (and its gardener). Happy Halloween to all the grave diggers. 🖤 Love, Mother Monster.”

According to event guests, Lady Gaga’s appearance was a surprise. Gaga danced alongside Little Monsters to her latest hits, including “The Dead Dance” and “Abracadabra,” with everyone dressed in their spookiest attire.

Gaga’s attendance of YouTube’s event comes in between her three sold-out MAYHEM Ball shows at the Palau Saint Jordi.

The artists next stop on the world tour is at the Uber Arena in Berlin on November 4 and 5.

While appearing on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, Demi Lovato performed a mash-up of Lady Gaga's "Disease" and "Perfect Celebrity."

"I fell in love with the album 'MAYHEM,' and Lady Gaga is so incredible on it that I wanted to do a cover of her here," Lovato said. "I had a lot of fun singing it."

Lovato has given Gaga her flowers numerous times this year, having told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" that the MAYHEM Ball was one of the best concerts they have seen.

Late last month, they told Z100 that they'd love to chat and collaborate with Gaga, and further gushed about the MAYHEM Ball.

Spotify interviewed Atticus for their series "Most Viral Fan." Atticus became famous years ago as "the kid in the orange jacket" who managed to get onstage with Lady Gaga during her tour and dance with her.

The video of them dancing together has since gone viral around the world, becoming one of the most touching moments in pop music history.

Atticus learned the choreography to "Scheiße," which he later performed with Gaga on stage, "in my room, in my underwear, watching YouTube videos" he told Spotify. He had originally planned to avoid any spoilers before attending the Born This Way Ball, but he wanted to teach the steps to one of his dance classes.

As the legend goes, he camped out for the show with friends and narrowly secured entry into the Monster Pit. It was there that he started doing the "Scheiße" choreography when he was spotted by Gaga.

Atticus "pushed through that crowd like a battering ram to the front of the stage," after hearing Gaga call him up. "Blackout is not the right word because I was so conscious."

"I don't feel like I had control over my body," he recounts, trusting his knowledge of the dance to carry him through the performance. The parts he wasn't sure of were the stage directions. Fortunately, the dancers graciously directed him on where to go.

"The next thing I knew, we were stopped at the front, and the lights were on us." That's when a fan threw a bouquet of flowers onstage. Atticus dropped to his knee and held them out to Gaga, who gave him a kiss.

After the song, "that's where the real magic happened." Atticus was pulled backstage and given the opportunity to hang out with Gaga's dancers (some of whom he's still in touch with today), and the superstar herself. "Oh my god, you are so fab," she told him, and signed his jacket.

That jacket, ironically, was one Atticus stole from "a girl from high school." It's safe to say he's not giving it back or giving it away—turning down offers up to $20k.

Even though Atticus has pursued his passion for photography over dance, he still cites the viral moment as a life-changing event. "She probably changed my life more than anything else ever has."
