  1. Hello! And welcome to the All-Stars 6 official discussion! Today has been the double premiere from this sixth season and the episodes are GAGATONDRA! 🔥🔥🔥 Please, talk about the episodes using the spoiler icon the toolbar.
  2. Hello everyone! Welcome to the LGBTQ+ films and series recommendation thread! Since it's Pride Month I thought we could share some of our favorite LGBTQ+ films and series. At this time I want to share with you two movies and two tv series! MOVIES Rafiki (2018): is a Kenyan drama and follows a story of romance that grows between two young women, Kena and Ziki, amidst family and political pressures around LGBTQ+ rights in Kenya. Performances on point, meaningful plot and great cinematography. It's also directed by a queer black woman. The movie was banned in Kenya. Hoje Eu Quero Voltar Sozinho (2014): "The Way He Looks" is a Brazilian coming-of-age drama that follows the story of Leonardo "a blind teenager searching for independence. His everyday life, the relationship with his best friend, Giovana, and the way he sees the world change completely with the arrival of Gabriel. It's just perfect. TV SERIES I Told Sunset About You (2020): is a Thai mini-series that follows the relationship of Teh and Oh-aew, who used to be childhood best friends but had a falling out and have not spoken for several years. Now in their final year of school, they meet again at a Chinese-language tutoring school as they prepare for university admissions. Starting out as rivals, they eventually make up and begin rebuilding their relationship as Teh helps tutor Oh-aew for their upcoming Chinese exam. They grow closer, forming a new bond that begins to extend beyond friendship but also tests their relationship as Teh struggles to understand and deal with his feelings. Info: this "first part" or first season consist of 5 episodes. There's also a short film and a "second part" currently airing. It's a MUST WATCH, great plot, great performances and the cinematogrpahy is breathtaking. Theory of Love (2019): this a Thai romantic comedy series that follows the story of a third year film student Third who has feelings for his friend Khai for three years with a result of painful unrequited love. Third decides to stop his feelings no matter how difficult it may be. But when Third decides to move on, Khai incidentally realizes that he also has feelings for Third. ATTENTION: this series falls into what is called "boys love" genre so if you're new to this genre you may find it strange or weird at first. Most of times in boys love productions the whole universe changes to an idealized one, like how it should be and not a true representation of reality. That said this show is a GREAT one, it's fun, and cute, and if you like romantic comedies WATCH IT. There's a big chance your favorite rom-com gets referenced in it. In fact, every episode poster (posters in spoiler) is a recreation of a known rom-com. Sister A Star Is Born makes a carneo. It's on YouTube with subs in english, portuguese, spanish and more: Feel free to share any LGBTQ+ film or series you'd like!
  3. Pose star Mj Rodriguez received an Emmy nomination on Tuesday for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, making her the first trans woman in history to be recognized in a lead acting category. Rodriguez was honored for her her work as house mother Blanca in the FX drama’s third and final season. All told, Pose walked off with nine nominations for its final season. In addition to Rodriguez, the show snagged nods for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Billy Porter. Despite Pose earning 11 Emmy nomination over its first two seasons (including an Outstanding Drama Series nod in Season 1), not a single member of the series’ predominantly trans female cast had ever been recognized prior to this year. Congrats to Pray Tell and Blanca. They deserve it.
  4. Miley Cyrus covers Cher's Believe as part of her upcoming Pride Special "Stand By You" The special is set to be a "fashion spectacle", streaming on June 25 on Peacock. What do you think of it?
  5. Hey everyone, I'm thinking of posting a cover of 1 LGBTQIA+ anthem per day on IG for Pride Month but I wasn't able to post since June 1 but I'm gonna try to make up for it over the next few days by posting 1 for each day I've missed. I've got these 17 ideas (pictured below) so far, some of which I've already posted, but I need about 13 more to make up 30. Any suggestions please? And yes… I'm doing a Kermit song 😂😂 I know it's a bit cringey for someone who'll be 17 in a few months but I think it's a nice song 😂😂
  6. Hello to all little monsters! It's June 1st for me right now and I just wanted to quickly say happy pride month to you all! Your identities are very valid and I love you guys! I hope you all have a great pride month. Never forget, we're on the right track and we were born this way! ❤️ Love, threedaysrey💖
  7. ¡HOLA! And welcome to the official discussion of Drag Race Spain! Meet the Queens: The first episode aired today! Any opinons? If you're going to write spoilers, don't forget to hide them properly with the spoiler option in the toolbar.
  8. *Use Spoilers Tag* This saturday is the premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under. I'm very excited about this season because I really don't know about Australian and New Zealanders queens. Are you excited? I'm rooting for Etcetera Etcetera.
  9. Hey hey ! I created this thread since the Drag Race season has already started with the initial season airing and UK coming in 2 weeks. This thread is for discussing each week's episode, and why not talk about the show in general (fav queens, lipsyncs, seasons etc) So i'll start, The 1st episode from season 13 was AMAZING !!! the cast is really great all the girls are lovely and super talented. I loved the new twist and format (even tho i think it's a bit traumatizing for the queens to have that kind of twist on day 1). The lipsyncs were great, there was some robberies (Rosé and Denali) My top 3 is Symone (GORGEOUS), Rosé & Gottmik, I can't stand Tina Burner she's like a mean version of Nina West and i'm not here for it.
