  3. Lady Gaga's dog walker, Ryan Fischer, who was shot by thieves attempting to kidnap her dogs, sat down with Gayle King on CBS This Morning to give his first television interview. The two addressed Ryan's injuries, overcoming his trauma and his healing practices. While discussing the aftermath of the shooting, Fischer revealed that Gaga has been highly supportive throughout his recovery. He revealed that he "stayed at her house for months", and that his family was flown out to Los Angeles to comfort him while he was being treated by trauma therapists. Fischer's comments debunk speculations that Gaga had not provided any support to him in the months following the incident, which began after he launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise additional funds for his recovery. To address these rumors, he said the following: “LG is very supportive of my journey right now and I think it is hard for people to understand why someone would go about healing in this way. I grew up Catholic, a Jesuit faith, and there is something about giving up your resources, giving up belongings, and to contribute that to society, so I know that doesn’t make sense to a lot of people but she totally gets it." For the next part of his recovery process, Fischer is planning to head to a trauma retreat for first responders and army soldiers, stating "I feel a bit of an outsider because I am a civilian but I also welcome hearing their stories and me sharing in my own and feeling what that feels like to share in stories of trauma and grief to then go forward."

  4. Hi everyone! Today is Day 20 of BeKind21, and my task for today is to start a gratitude journal. I was thinking that, instead of writing down the things I'm grateful for in a journal, I'd post them here and ask you all to do the same... Only if you want to, of course... Absolutely no pressure on anyone to share if they don't feel comfortable with it 🥰 Without further ado, here are some of the things I'm grateful for... - My family, my friends (especially irl but online too) and my pets. - Good, nice teachers. - Clean food and water. - My health. - Music (especially Gaga, but a few other artists too). - Movies, TV shows and musicals. - Comfortable clothing. - Art. - Jewelry. - The Health Service and the Fire Department because they help save people's lives. - Air conditioning/fans for when I'm too hot and heating systems/hot water bottles for when I'm cold. - Being loved. - And so much more! What kind of things are you grateful for? Feel free to share them in the comments! Thank you!

  7. 3 television specials for the promotional rollout of Love For Sale have been announced as part of a partnership between Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett and ViacomCBS, in their "biggest cross-platform music collaboration to date". The first is titled One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, and will air on CBS the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, November 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The hour-long show is the filmed rendering of the two concerts the pair did at Radio City Music Hall in August. The show will be available for streaming on the Paramount Plus service. The second show will be MTV Unplugged: Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, filmed in an intimate studio setting around the same time as the Radio City Music Hall shows. Though the airdate has yet to be confirmed, it is slated for this winter. Tony previously won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year for the recording of his 1995 MTV Unplugged special. The last of the specials will be a documentary called The Lady and the Legend, available exclusively via Paramount Plus, also with a premiere date yet to be announced. Described as providing “an intimate look into a beautiful friendship and musical partnership that transcends generations,” the special will include footage from the making of Love for Sale, the duo's 2014 album Cheek to Cheek, and their first collaboration The Lady is a Tramp in 2011. MTV also confirmed that the music video for Love For Sale, the album's title track, will premiere this Friday at 12pm ET, as part of a series of video premieres to promote the album. 9. Tatler has released an interview with Lady Gaga, discussing her highly impactful collaboration with Dom Pèrignon. Read an excerpt of her interview below: Gaga subscribes to similar beliefs, believing that adhering to an unwavering work ethic is necessary before relishing the joy of creative freedom. “Creative freedom is something that you have to earn, in a way; you have to work at it. It has to be a discipline in something that you practise,” she says. “Creative freedom blossoms when we share our creativity with others. Otherwise we start to create in a vacuum.” The musician described director Knight as a force of nature, and embraced his vision for Dom Pérignon’s future as a “Queendom”, something that reflects the brand’s evolution. “This idea of Queendom was something that we all came up with together,” says Gaga. “For me, it was a response to those who used to say that Dom Pérignon is the champagne of kings, and I said, ‘Well, next year it’s going to be the champagne of queens.’ I am all about dismantling systems that do not serve us, systems that caused suffering. The patriarchy gave birth to the idea that the kingdom was the greatest ‘dom’ of all. So here we declare the Queendom.” Gaga’s collaboration with Dom Pérignon is an empowering reflection of the importance of working together, and of the values they share. “What is true freedom, true liberation to me, I believe, would be when humanity finds a new gravity of love—when we learn to live in a way that we have not lived yet,” she says. Gaga’s partnership with Dom Pérignon began in April with the release of a fashion film directed by Nick Knight, set to an orchestral version of Chromatica track Free Woman. The film introduced fans to the Queendom, “a world where absolute creative freedom rules and runs free”. To accompany the release of the film, Dom Pérignon unveiled a limited-edition sculpture designed by Gaga and Nicola Formichetti, encasing bottles of the luxury champagne. The sculptures were sold at private auctions in support of the Born This Way Foundation. Read the full article on Tatler Magazine. 14. I guess everything was ready to be released the 20th or maybe the 27th but gaga decided to delay it at the last minute because of all this happening in Afghanistan. In my opinion she could be a popstar and at the same time be an activist of peace and kindness but maybe she doesn't feel like that idk. THE THING IS, she can't CANCEL IT because it's ready, only paperwork was missing. So pls we must keep calm and promote only kindness.

  29. I have that only the featurings on this album are the best! Free Woman feat. Rina sawayama should definitely be a single. Fun Tonight feat. Pabllo Vittar is incredible! (I'm half Vrazilian so I love this tropical vibe that they've put into it), 911 feat. Charli xcx is very different than I expected but I love it. And excuse me, but Babylon Haus Labs is terrible.

  35. Grammy-winning producer Mark Ronson talks about Lady Gaga's Oscar-winning song Shallow from A Star Is Born in the new Apple TV docuseries, "Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson". Ronson's series documents the process in creating music. He speaks on what artists will do to reach the best sound possible. In the first episode, "Auto-Tune", Ronson discusses how the human voice is the perfect instrument. He uses Lady Gaga's performance of Shallow as an example. He also discusses how he was not there to produce the song, but was there for the writing process. "Shallow is a rare case of a record where I wrote but I didn't actually end up producing. So I was just there in the writing process. It was kind of a blur that day or two days we worked on it. She came into the studio, and I think she sat at the piano first. She's like, "I got an idea." And I think she had a few chords. As soon as she sang that song in that soft broken way and her voice, like all the hairs stood up." "The voice, there's nothing in the world like it." When asked to auto-tune that voice to hear what it would sound like, Ronson tries it out. "I don't know because I don't-- It sounds pretty perfect to me, but we could just try it. See." He finds there is nothing for the auto-tune to correct. Lady Gaga's pitch is so spot on and perfect that using auto-tune on the song actually makes it sound off. "It's not really doing much at all because her pitch is so on that the auto-tune is not-- it doesn't have anything to correct. You can tell it's just kind of bored." The sound system then crashes, and Ronson jokes that it must be saying her voice is already too good. "There is no plug-in in the world that can make you do this," Ronson says about Lady Gaga's vocals. "Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson" is steaming on Apple TV now. You can view the Shallow clip here, and you can watch the full episode that mentions Lady Gaga here. View full article

  38. Look how long Love for Sale took, it was announced to be coming out in spring and was pushed back to October. It’s the nature of projects & creating music, so many parts & entities & people apart of it that it can take longer then predicted. I believe this is a major reason Gaga has stopped announcing prematurely until an official announcement is ready, because she understands the nature of the process. I do believe the remix will be coming sooner then we think it could be easy to say who knows if it will even come in august & I don’t know if it will, but I think it’s going to be closer then we think.

  46. The fourth annual #BeKind21 challenge from the Born This Way Foundation has officially started with a collaboration with Zynga's "Words with Friends". The #Bekind21 challenge is from September 1st to September 21st. The foundation first started this challenge in 2018 as part of its kindness initiative. With the #Bekind21 challenge, they hope to encourage people to practice twenty-one days of kindness towards themselves and others. This year, as part of the challenge, the Born This Way Foundation has partnered up with Zynga's "Words with Friends", a mobile app where players can challenge others to a scrabble-like game. To start off the collaboration, Zynga has made "Kindness" the Words with Friends word of the day to bring awareness to the campaign, as well as a reminder to simply be kind to one another. The company is also easily allowing players to sign up for the #BeKind21 challenge directly in the game. Players can find creative ideas for kindness in the game, as well as s customizable calendar to track kind acts. "Acts of kindness can come in many different forms, and can be as simple as inviting a friend to play a game," states Bernard Kim, president of publishing at Zynga. Zynga hopes this partnership will encourage their players to do both large and small acts of kindness in their lives. Download Words with Friends to participate in the game, and visit Born This Way Foundation's website for more information on the #Bekind21 Challenge, or visit: bornthisway.foundation/bekind21
