The Scissor Sisters will reportedly be the new opening act for Lady GaGa’s next round of the Monster Ball. The band will join the pop sensation on tour starting in Atlantic City on February 19th, 2011.

Following her celebrity-filled “We Are Plastic Ono Band” concert at the Brooklyn Academy of Music earlier this year, Yoko Ono has announced the special guests — including Lady Gaga — to be featured at her performances at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theater on Oct. 1-2.

Along with Gaga, who will share the stage with Plastic Ono Band on Oct. 2, Iggy Pop, the RZA, Perry Farrell and Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore will all contribute to the showcase’s two-night run.

Lady Gaga’s whole existence sometimes feels like a living, breathing, bleeding, gender-bending work of art. Now, Madame Tussauds is planning to spend major bucks to turn the international pop sensation into a life-size waxwork.

According to a spokesperson for the New York branch of Madame Tussauds, the popular tourist attraction in Times Square is working on a Gaga figure that should be ready by year’s end. And here’s the best part:

“We’re open to hearing from fans about which looks they want,” said the spokesperson, encouraging Gaga’s “little monsters” to visit NYCWax.com to weigh in on which of Gaga’s many signature styles they would like to see immortalized in wax. While the spokesperson could not comment on a report in a British tabloid that Tussauds is spending more than $1.5 million on the Gaga figures, they did clarify that “many” but not all nine global outlets will get their own Gaga. It is also not yet known if all the Gagas will sport the same look or have different outfits.

Kat Von D has recalled tattooing Lady GaGa before the singer became famous.
Speaking on Lopez Tonight, the LA Ink star revealed that GaGa had just moved to Los Angeles at the time and was still looking for her big break.
“I was tattooing this rose on her hip. I’m like, ‘Why did you move out here?’ She said, ‘I moved out here to make it big’,” Von D remembered. “I was like, ‘Yeah, you and everyone else’ or whatever, and she’s like, ‘No, no! I’m here to make it big!’ The next thing you know, a week later, her face is everywhere and I’m like, ‘Dude, she did it! That’s awesome!’”

Lady Gaga tweeted about meeting KISS backstage at their concert in New Jersey on Friday and also posted a picture of her and KISS:
